I just read elsewhere that someone's experience at Magic Kingdom had non-resort guests being let in for the extra magic hour in the am near the Fantasy Land entrance.
This would be handled entirely differently for AM and PM EMH. Night has always had them checking bands for one member of the group.

With the new security, guests arriving via bus would not be checked at all.
I have typed and retyped a response quite a few times
While, I'm sure the intention of the question is perfectly innocent - particularly, since I see the you are staying on property
These kinds of issues should not be discussed on public forums ...
1. If a resort guest arrives and they are checking bands - all is as it should be
2. If a resort guest arrives and they are not checking bands, don't shout it from the rooftops, and invite abuse - bring up your annoyance and the oversight to Disney
3. If a non-resort guest arrives and they are not checking bands and they found out by being there, by accident - some pixie dust
4. If a non-resort guest arrives and they are not checking bands and they went there knowing they don't and in essence are gaming the system, I would like to think karma will come their way sometime during the visit
Information spreads like wildfire on the internet - ever see a pricing mistake posted, and all hell breaks loose - same theory here - if procedures are not being followed, do not blast it - unless you want lots of non-resort guests showing up during EMH because they saw on the internet that Disney procedures are lax
I am truly not trying to start trouble, please don't take this the wrong way
We should probably let the mods police what should or shouldn't be said here.I have typed and retyped a response quite a few times

This is incorrect information, they security check everyone, just in different places now.
Is this a serious post? It's a discussion board. This is a valid observation and question. Enforcing the entry rules is up to Disney -- not the responsibility of a poster making an observation online.I have typed and retyped a response quite a few times

I would go to guest services and voice my concerns. If I am paying extra for the EMH perks, I would like an explanation why off site guests are enjoying my supposedly onsite exclusive perks.
