Hi all!

My DH, DS, DD, DSBFF, & Dtoddler are here having a great time but this morning we saw something quite distressing and we are wondering if anyone saw it too.

As we were riding the boat from the Dolphin (thanx Podcast team!) to HS, there was an ambulance like water craft boarding a water mouse with a man who appeared in very dire straits. We have been thinking about him all day and am wondering if anyone else saw this and the man is ok.......

Wishing him health!!

That's awful, could you tell...was he an older man that might have been having a heart attack? I hope he's alright.

Hey I wasnt there so he is probably OK. No dead people for me this trip!!!

I saw a similar sight (man down and emergency care) when departing the Zurich airport on a train.

Being someplace away from home and experiencing such and event has always touched me. Now that I have little ones and am an older mother, it is even more scary.

That is why we tell the folks on the DL board and you guys to post up or contact me if you have emergencies while here at Disneyland. One family from TX had one - her husband blew a disc in his back and they were stranded here for 11 days without anyone local to help, until her son left college and drove here to get them and drive them home. They had an MD service come in, but could very well have gone to the hospital down the freeway that they didn't know about. (UC Irvine Med Center or even Childrens Hospital of Orange County - if anyone has a desire to know.) We can be to DL in an hour (on most days - 35 minutes on a Sunday morning).
We are a community here on the DIS and that is what communities do for each other!
