Hi there... I really like these boards, I am new here and found lots of good info. We are going to Disney in November and are staying at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista.

Has anyone ever stayed there that can give me an opinion? We have a choice of a suite with a 'POOL view'.... or a suite with an 'ATRIUM view'. Is one better than the other??

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions or info about this hotel, that would be great! Thanx so much!! :earsboy:

HI, We will be there the first full week of August. We have requested a pool side room on the ground floor. They have just added a wing and the lady I spoke with said some of the new rooms are poolside also. I will be happy to let you know how it is when we return. Some people are saying I'm nuts for wanting poolside. But I say heck we are on vacation and we will not have to treck around the hotel to get to the pool.

Hi and thanx so much for your reply!! Yes Yes.. please let me know what you thought of the pool-view room. I heard that you hear a lot of noise from outside by the pool and the bar area. Also, let me know if the view is prettier by the pool, or the room with the atrium. You can post here, or email me @ connieran@hotmail.com when you get back. Have fun on your trip!! and thanx! :earsboy:

We stayed at Embassy Suite, LBV last year in August. Stayed in the atrium area, about the 5th floor but off to the right of the elevators. It was a very quiet room, and to be honest with you
worked out great for us. It was not a long walk to the pool, and because we spent our days in WDW. We were only at the pool for a short time each afternoon. Althought the pool rooms are newer, I believe they are closer to the highway and can be a bit noisy.

It is a very nice hotel, all the rooms have been renovated. The breakfast is great, you can't go wrong here!!
