We went during Princess Half Marathon weekend, during the Saturday of the 10k, we sprinted to Norway after park opening, so we waited about 2.5 hours to meet them (they were not meeting at 9 at that point).
That said, they spent a good 10 minutes with our group and the Memory Maker photographer took over 60 pictures. It was a great experience and, I didn't think I'd say this, but it was worth the 2+ hour wait for us. My son was dying to meet his "girlfriend" Elsa and despite being a big chatter box, going on an on and on about how he was going to meet her and get married, as soon as she saw him... He completely melted, got totally tongue tied. She asked for a hug and that was it... He was done. A blushing, smiling, puddle of a 3-year-old who couldn't string two words together for her, but did hold her hand the entire time. She invited him to her castle to make snow statues and he took her hand and tried to march out with her right then and there.
I know a lot of it was Princess Half Marathon Weekend/week, but when we checked on the Thursday before, the line at noon was 6 hours. The line by 9:30 was back to the road where Donald meets by Mexico and the CM's were advising people it was a 7+ hour long line. The week after, after most of the runners had left, the line was still hitting 5-6 hours.
Big change from when we went during Wine and Dine, where they were out (but I think informally), and NOBODY was in line to see them. They had CM's flagging people down to tell them with the hopes they'd go see them. LoL!
