Ellen's Energy Adventure - yikes!

I have to agree with the masses. I get out of the heat and off my feet.

Tbh if Disney put in an air conditioned room with couches or hammocks I'd be in line. It's the reason I hate the song at the end of American Adventure, it always wakes me up. There needs to be more cool places to sit and relax in.

Hahaha! That's my alarm clock! That way I don't have to be nudged to wake up and leave. I have been napping in the American Adventure since it opened. I think they pump sleeping gas in there or something.

I only ever went on this once. Got through the preshow got in the cars started on the way got past the first big room of dinosaurs and a bit further down and the ride stopped.

I was so glad... I was bored. They walked everyone off and we have never done it again.

Seeing the animatronics with all the lights on as we left was cool though.

We like the entire attraction, with special kudos to the pre-show.

We see it once per trip, and make sure we time it to enter just after the previous pre-show guests get loaded into the theater room.

We like it to lol. We love the life like dinosaurs.

This may be one of my favorite things in Future World. I love Bill Nye, I love Ellen, I love Jeopardy, I love Dinosaurs. I even love Stupid Judy.

Sorry you're not a fan OP. I bet you would like it a little better had you seen what it was like before they introduced Ellen into the mix!

I liked the dinosaur part, but other than that...
I tend to get motion sickness watching the semi circle movies, so I had to look down for most of the show.

Love it never real busy, dark cool and nap time, great way to beat the heat, I've have stayed awake several times so I don't feel bad about the nap, and I'm so glad others feel the sameabout napping, the wife gets mad at me for napping...lol.

stupid judy is a bonus lol.

i do admit that during the actual ride i do tend to close my eye.

i also love the weather and fashion report lol.

The one time we decided to visit that attraction we did so to get out of the September heat. Despite returning to Disney several times since then, none of us have had any inclination to visit it again.

I think that is the problem with a lot of the old future world attractions (and Epcot in general)... They are "one and done" .. it is probably why they did away with so many of them and replaced them with thrill rides that people would want to do again and again.

Stupid Judy, Stupid Energy

I absolutely LOVE the section with the Dinosaurs, would love to see that part expanded into an entire ride of it's own.

Energy is a must do for us, usually once, maybe twice per trip.

We had never done this before, so I told my family we had to try it this trip - mistake.... I'm still shocked at just how lame and boring it was, lol! Needless to say, one and done for this one!

Just be thankful you didn't get to experience the original show because you would be doubly disappointed at how much more stale the current attraction is.

I always liked EEA. We didn't get to do it last year. I always thought it made for a nice air conditioned break, too.

I liked it when I did it in 2008 - I love Ellen. I didn't feel the need to bring my family there when I brought them on more recent trips, though. It's one of a couple of attractions where the language barrier is a big annoyance (my kid doesn't speak English yet).

We always skipped this in the past. I tried it once on a solo trip and enjoyed it. We plan on hanging out with Ellen in September when we are back.
