I think she's remarkably unintelligent for someone with a job on a major network television show. She reminds me of Sarah Palin. She has risen to the highest level of her incompetence. She was ok as a participant on Survivor but that in no way should have qualified her for her job now. I'd like to see her retire. She adds nothing. I also think she is classless. She keeps calling herself 'knocked up.' Like I said, classless.

I haven't watched the View in years because of that foolish woman. She would never change her mind about Bush, no matter what he did (or didn't do). As soon as McCain became the GOP candidate, she jumped to worshipping him. At that point, she started to admit that Bush made mistakes and argued that McCain was nothing like him. When he lost, she was suddenly in love with Bush again.

My political and social beliefs are my own, and I don't slavishly attach myself to certain politicians to make people like me or believe that I'm sincere. I have no respect for those that do. I was a strong Obama supporter and am happy that he's the President. I have no trouble saying that I disagree with him on his plans for education in the US.

Really? Joy?? I think she's a moron. She's rude, crude, obnoxious and loud mouthed. I can't watch because of her and Barbara. I also can't stand that valley girl voice thing Whoopi does. Oh man, I don't like that show.

Barbara should just bow out gracefully while she can. Her "questions" and manner have both become less professional and trite! She has lost her "edge" and wants to "fit with the others, it does NOT work IMHO.

JOY is just trashy, looks, demeanor and attitude. What the heck happened to her?? She used to be funny and pleasant, well maybe not pleasant but likable....She seems so Jaded now, like a woman scorned ALL the time in MY view. She is so often Hostile!

As far as Shari, she is holding her own N O W after her Bumpy start...."the world actually spins" ??????? WHERE did they FIND her?????

And people question the intelligence of Elizabeth? At least she can put a concise sentence together. I think sometimes she tries "too hard" to fit in as she is opinionated (and no I do not always agree with her or any one of them for that matter.)

Generally I watch if they have a guest I am interested in, but I have left the show also...............Personally I'd rather be that does not say much for the show.....

Her political knowledge is what I'm speaking of. When you are going to debate it, you need to have more than borrowed sound bites and a raised shrill voice, and no I've never cried when debating someone or when I find myself losing the battle. I grew out of that type of behavior sometime in my teens.

I remember watchin' Brother Swaggart cryin' on TV one time, I forget what it was about, but he was quite emotional about it.

I'm not a big fan of Joy either but I think her personality compliments Barbara and Whoppi these days. Joy is a comedienne and has a bit of wit. Elizabeth is witless.

Even if I was home during the day to watch the show now (I don't have tivo) I wouldn't . They all get on my nerves. But particularly Joy and Barbara. I used to respect BW but she has made herself look foolish on this show imho. Joy seems very unintelligent, just says things without knowing what she's talking about. Elizabeth whines. I think what's her name Sheri? She seems the most normal of the group.

Dont like that show at all! I think Id rather watch Rosie than Elisabeth. Elisabeth just seems to say the same things in a different way and often doesnt back herself up too well.

I loved Elisabeth on Survivor!!!!

But on the View, she comes off as kind of dumb. On Survivor, it was cute. On the View, not so cute.

And since this has become a political thread, no I don't agree with her views. But, I think Joy Behar's annoying, too. She's just not funny. I miss the old View days with Meredith and Star, heck, even Debbie was funny. I guess, I was hoping Elisabeth wouldn't turn into the ditz like Debbie. But, that's where she's gone.

I'm so disappointed!! For the last month or so, I was finding that I was enjoying the View whenever I happened to catch the show. In fact, I was liking it so much, that I even set my PVR to record it.

Well, then Elizabeth came back from maternity leave, and I can no longer watch the show. No - I'm not trying to bash Elizabeth. No - I'm not bashing her political views. I just find myself so frustrated with how she carries herself. I actually enjoy intelligent, humourous, calm debate on all subjects. I have no problem having both conservative and liberal representation on the show. I simply can no longer take the yelling, and defensiveness by Elizabeth.

I'm actually sad about not watching the show anymore, as I did enjoy it so far this season. I simply decided that yelling at the TV is NOT my way of enjoying myself!! I wish they could get someone else on the show to represent conservatism, who would engage in open conversation, and be willing to hear other perspectives. While some of the others on the show may not always be receptive to opposite opinions, they don't seem to get so shrill and frustrating (to me anyway).
