Elisabeth Hasselbeck annoys me!

I agree. I don't even think Rosie wanted to even really get into it. But Elizabeth was finger pointing and yap yap yapping in a shrill high voice that I couldn't even understand what she was saying.

I agree with this
SEVERAL times rosie stops talking and says I am not doing with you
elisabeth was the aggressor yesterday
Also Rosie says when I have hurt your feelings in the past I have reached out and said sorry why didnt elisabeth do the same
i think it was wrong the EH to say I was trying to give you the opporitunity
I dont think its her show and she was giving Rosie anything
she loves Bush no matter what he says or does if she really cared for Rosie why wouldnt she stand up for her friend :confused3

Rosie sure did say she didn't want to get into it.

I read over at TWoP that the "Loose Change" 9/11 conspiracy folks were booked on the View for tomorrow but as of this afternoon they were canceled(thankfully!) and now Rosie has the day off for Kelly's B-day. Considering Rosie's been pushing hard for that show for awhile I think it's a possible sign she won't be returning.

The fact she was off today was announced weeks ago..so this rumor is a non starter.

Rosie at the beach...

You represent your side so eloquently..

I can't stand EH either. When they were audtioning for new co-host I actually liked her and wanted her to get the job. But once she got it, she just turned into a different person. I can't stand listening to her. Hopefully she will be on maternity leave for a looooooooong time!

Today should be interesting even though Rosie won't be there. Barbara should be back giving her spin on it. Plus Elisabeth will be there.

Then they'll be taped for tomorrow and probably Mon due to the holiday so Rosie won't be back till Tues??

She started with her list in front of her and said "the country needs to be furious about this, why can't we get rid of this guy (before 2008)" _that implies impeachment to me.

If it didn’t imply impeachment the only other thing I can think of is assassination. I really, really hope that Joy was not referring to that. I’m sure she wasn’t, so I would have to go with impeachment.

Here is what I don’t understand. If they want to get rid of him so badly then why don’t they go through the proper channels and motions and impeach him? Why just moan and groan and complain and whine? :headache:

Oh, and Joy’s list. So we impeach people because they can’t pronounce a word? I know that it was a joke, but it really makes her other arguments less valid when she starts using absurd and stupid things to try to make her point.

I also expect that Elizabeth's contract won't be renewed.

I heard that after she has her baby she may not be coming back because she wants to stay home with them. Of course, that is what I saw in the media and we all know how reliable they can be. ;)

Not sure if these has been mentioned or not, but did anyone else see Alicia Silverstone blow EH off when she came out? I was like did I just see that? EH just sat down.

Well, Alicia Silverstone showed her true colors. She is a #*%($#. She just proved it on national TV. Sad to because I actually love watching Blast From The Past. I know, corny movie, but there is just something about it that will make me watch every time that it is on TV. Of course now, I will look at her and think about what a stuck up, pretentious, shallow snob she is. :sad2:

In regard to Rosie and Elizabeth and their little tiff.

I like Rosie, generally, all though she has said some crazy stuff and can go off on occasion. In this instance she should have spoken to "her friend" off stage if she was really hurt by E not defending her. She called her out on TV and tried to make her look like and idiot. Then gets crazy when E didn't answer quick enough or with the exact wording that R wanted. If you going to ask a person a question then either shut your mouth up long enough to hear an answer or don't ask!!!

Of course, E has a way of butting in all the time also. She needed to shut up and let Joy read her list. Is there a reason she had to make snide remarks everytime Joy said something? It shows immaturity. Unfortunatly, there seems to be a lack of maturity on that set.

I rewatched the episode this morning. Rosie sat completely silent for most of it. Joy and Elisabeth were going at it for awhile. Rosie spoke up when Elisabeth said that we are fighting our enemies in Iraq. Rosie asked if IRAQ is our enemy. That's when it got heated. EH kept saying, no it was Al Quiada (?). Rosie tried to stop the debate several times and EH kept it going. Joy even sighed and hung her head down once when EH started back up. They both are guiltly of saying mean things. I fear that Rosie won't come back to finish her 3 weeks because of this. I find it sad. I love Hot Topics and wish the whole show could be about that, just without the heated politics.

This is why I never liked the View. They all yell over each other, you can't understand what the other is saying. I don't normally watch but I checked out you tube to see what all the fuss was about. Elisabeth is a die hard republican and when Joy was reading that list she took it so personally. She needs to lighten up and let other people express their "view". You could see her getting madder and madder as Joy read on. I don't know how anyone could sit through the whole show listening to 4-5 women yelling over each other! UGH!!!

:lmao:

That is why I've only seen the show once. I'd rather watch the Price is Right and see people jump around and go crazy. :rotfl:

Of course, Hasselbeck could've answered a direct "yes or no" question with a direct "yes or no" answer. That ought to tell people she does think O'Donnell called the troops terrorists. Hasselbeck just doesn't have the guts to come right out with it.

Weasels like Hasselbeck represent her political compadres very well.

Rosie tried to stop the debate several times
Rosie tried to stop the debate when Rosie was done making her point. On the DIS, she'd be stating her opinion, and then calling for the thread to be closed.

She tried but was interupted. And she did say a few seconds later "No I don't think that you think the troops are terrorists."

LOL, good point. You're probably right.

Yes, and ignorant bullies like Rosie represent her political compadres very well too. :thumbsup2

When did asking someone a direct question suddenly become bullying and ignorance?

Hasselbeck is a water-carrying, boot-licking weasel for Bush who can't even look someone in the eye and tell them exactly what they think.

Any day of the week, I'll take the bully who can look someone in the eye and answer a direct question. YMMV

Btw, I don't like The View: Too many yentas.

I must've missed it during the yenta scream-off. ;)

I am wondering if she will come back also...She feels betrayed. She had EH to her home on a number of occasions and trusted her. In the final analysis EH's White House invite was more important..Imagine Elizabeth Hasselback, a virtual nobody, invited to a state dinner with the queen? How desperate is Bush anyway?
Anyway I think she may quit outright after all the lying and spinning the media is doing, including her own station. I wouldn't blame her, but I hope she doesn't give EH the satisfaction. I also think Joy is going to quit which is why yesterday she said I'll fight her..when Rosie said I'm not fighting her ( EH)anymore, it's a waste of time (not exact words listen to Utube)

Yes, EH would be fired but I think the show will just end..Sad, this may have been the year it would an Emmy.
