Elisabeth Hasselbeck annoys me!

Elisabeth should put a sock in it. She has something to say about EVERYTHING it seems and I hate it when she talks all over people. Might be young, but she should still behave more appropriately! Her poor husband must not stand a chance up against her!

????????? Elsabeth talks over people? I think the reason she is talking at the same time as Rosie is because ROSIE is talking over her. Rosie asks a ? and doesn't wait the answer , she is afraid of the answer so she just keeps talking loud.

and Rosie doesn't have something to say about everything? - and what exactly is wrong with having an opinion anyway? - isn't that what she is getting paid for? should she just it there and nod her head at Rosie?

C) I'm sure her "poor husband" is as happy as he can be.

When there's any kind of conversation going on Elisabeth can hardly sit still she is chomping at the bit imediately trying to get her 2 cents in there. Rosie has a lot to say as well, but I think for the most part she exhibits more respect in hearing out the other persons thought. Elisabeth needs a slap!

I agree Elisabeth DOES talk over everyone. When Joy was reading her list about Bush, Elisabeth was trying to respond to every reason Bush should be impeached. Elisabeth does not let anyone finish a sentence if they are attacking Bush.

Rosie was way out of line. If Elizabeth Hasselback was her friend... Why would a friend tell one to stop blathering. Why would a friend tell some one that they are too young to have an opinion.

Rosie is a baby, had to air it out in public on National TV that she was hurt by Elizabeth. Rosie puts her statements out there, no one else does. Then complains when the "Crappy Cable TV News Shows" reports on her implied Statements. She has a complex of everybody being against her. When things don't go her way she puts on her mug.

I just saw the clips from todays show. I'm sorry, but that was Elisabeth going off. I agree they should solve their issues off-camera, but that was not an issue of Rosie attacking Elisabeth (as the headlines are touting).

She started with her list in front of her and said "the country needs to be furious about this, why can't we get rid of this guy (before 2008)" _that implies impeachment to me. Then she started her little list, which was all just stuff liberals don't like, nothing illegal. The FIRST thing on the list was "He STOLE the election in 2000".

yep, that exactly what she said, I heard it on MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS (the one Dan Rather used to be affilliated with ) AND CNN. (It just drives you libs crazy that there is ONE network that isn't owed and operated by a flaming liberal doesn't it?)

She absolutely wants him impeached..she absolutely mentioned he stole the election..If from everything she stated from her list that should be cause for impeachment, you can only mention "stole the election" you aren't listening either.

I think that poster and I were responding to a specific comment pertaining to a "stole the election" comment made by another poster. It's not that we're not listening. We just can't hear over all the yelling on both sides.

Rosie is gone next month (if not before). Elizabeth will be lucky Barbara doesn't fire her for picking on her poor precious Rosie. That leaves Joy and Barbara. Who wants to watch those two old crones babble on and on?

If that happens, this show is o-v-e-r. Or maybe I'm just over the show.

Me too. I wish they'd make the whole show about Hot Topics. It's the good part of the show.

Here's my diplomatic answer. I think both of them talked over each other. It's been happening for a long time. Yes, it's rude. But I don't think you can blame just one of them.

Rosie doesn't care about the show anymore, and it shows - she's treating it like a free-for-all. I like Elisabeth.

I often watch the show with my almost 80-year-old mother. Neither of us can stand Elisabeth! She NEVER shuts up! Plus, she talks too fast and it makes her sound shrill. She's like a yappy little dog! My mother calls her "that little snot-nosed...."

We can't figure out how she got on the show in the first place. She's certainly a loyal Bushie; she's already had dinner at the WH when the Queen was visiting--wonder how else she'll be rewarded? Actually, when she took the day off for that dinner, the show was really pleasant to watch!

I wish Rosie would stay and 'that little snot' would leave!

I have been watching the View off and on ever since it came on. It was NEVER the complete political debate it has been since Rosie came on. The show has completely changed its focus. I really liked Meredith Viera but, lordy, I did not realize how much until the past year. All of the women were so much more respectful and it was a whole different tone and focus.
It also is true that the VIEW was originally billed as the "views" of women from different ages and backgrounds. Joy was not even one of the hosts. She was a filler when one of the regulars were out - usually Barbara.
The only way I will continue to regularly watch is if the respect and level of intelligent arguments - on both sides increases. They just threw Elizabeth in w/ the wolves. Debbie Metenapouls (sp?) was a very funny giggly 20 something. Never tried to be anything else.

Does anyone have a link to the Monday show comment that essentially started this whole thing? It's funny, 'cause I never watch The View, but I was driving home from an eye doctor's appointment today and couldn't find anything to listen to on the radio. Here in the Philly area, we get our local ABC station on the radio, so I turned it on for a minute, not even really knowing what was on and I caught the beginning of this debate. I just about swerved when Elisabeth said the Donald Trump comment.

All I can say is "Go Elisabeth!" She finally stood up to Rosie (someone who I can't stand politically, but kinda want to like as a person) who, in all the YouTube clips I see whenever there's a controversy around this show, consistently talks over her.

Plus, any time a hot Republican is on tv, it's all right to me.
