Same here. Looked to me like she didn't want to deal with it. She picked up the CD and plugged it in a "let's move on" way. She just looked done to me.

But on MONDAY, it wasn't that EH didn't answer her, it was that she had the opinion that even though she (EH), didn't think Rosie thought the troops were terrorists, she thought Rosie's statement didn't leave alot of room for the news talk shows to interperet it any differently. So she said, don't ask me, tell THEM what you meant. I don't see anything wrong with that, but Psyco Control Freak Rosie, didn't want to have a mature discussion, she wanted to play a game, and pin EH down to a one word answer and make EH shut up and cower down and have to peep a little "no" after big fat booming Psyco Rosie was Towering over her with saliva dripping from her fangs screaming "One word answer Elisabeth!!!!! Answer me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do YOU think that I think the troops are terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The nice thing for Rosie about a one word answer was she knew EH would HAVE to say no, and then she would look all vindicated. That method of questioning is a classic CONTROL TACTIC in arguing. EH was not going to be controled. Although she didn't think that was what Rosie meant, she still did not think what Rosie said or the way she said it was right, and she thought Rosie should vindicate herself, not control EH into doing it. Again, I have new respect for EH.

I totally agree - and I still like Rosie. I think she was out of control (on Wednesday). I still like her, but IMO she had a very public meltdown. We all do it at time, unfortunately hers was on tv.

If I were EH, I would have done the same thing as she did on Monday -ask Rosie to clarify (which Rosie then did). Nothing makes some people more mad than someone speaking for them - I think it's very condescending. I would assume Rosie would feel the same and think it wasn't my place to get involved in something I assumed R was perfectly capable of handling on her own. If EH had taken a different tactic and defended her, I think Rosie still would have been on her case but it would have been that she could defend herself and stay out of it.

I also gained new respect for EH. She was being bullied on Wednesday and she stood up to it. On Monday they were talking about the shows and I never saw EH "not supporting" Rosie. They were having a debate. The only "unfriendlike" think I saw was when R insulted EH with the "can't you hold two thoughts in your head" comment.

Seems pretty aparent what happened, Rosie was hurt by what the women, especially EH were doing to her that week. It was apparent to see that she was being goated into reacting. Reaction from rosie is good ratings for the View.

The mind numbing part of all this for me is its pretty apparent that if you dont like rosies politics you think shes a discusting whatever aweful human ect ect ect. Its obvious people, the hate is burning up the screen from some posts.

Its documented that the woman supports the troops with her own time and money and countless childrens charities, this is not a bad human being by any stretch. Loud yes, opinionated definatly but shes not this evil monster some are painting her to be.

That is the part that bothers me. Disagree with the politics but the character assasination is baseless. Rosie has said she was hurt by the view ladies she considered friends. Thats it. Watch it with a non discriminating eye from monday to wednesday and its pretty clear.

No ill will to any particular poster, want to make that clear , just want people to think before they trash decent people. Maybe loud, maybe crass, maybe even alittle crazy, but a decent human being.

i know i am coming in late on this one but here is the thing...
EH is a complete republican puppet, trying to set herself up for a job on one of those Fox shows..its beyond obvious. Her opinions are her opinions and I won't fault her for that ( even though i disagree with alot of them )

HOWEVER it was not a political thing Rosie was calling her out on last week..as a "friend" she was basically saying " hey.,,do you think i really said that crap they are saying on those shows??" and EH didn't say yes i do or no, i don't..she kept pushing it and pushing it (RATINGS) and making a mountain out a molehill because she couldn't support her "friend" who days before gave her a free stay at her miami home because if she said " no rosie, i think they got it wrong..you never said that" she would hurt her future job chances on FOX...with friends like EH...who needs enemies....

For those of you defending Rosie, there have been just as many nasty things said about EH on this thread. It goes both ways. Look at the title of this thread.

How do you know that EH will be on Fox news? Have you heard something or do you have a crystal ball?

Even Rosie has said some hurtful, demeaning things to EH - how young and naive she is, can she hold two thoughts at once, how she can say all her 'republican crap' she wants, how she's being brain washed etc....

My point was rosie is not a bad human being, never have I said that EH is a bad human being or tryed to demean her in anyway. What EH is , is a woman that is confident in her convictions, I dont think she is doing this for a job at FOX. If the view is cancelled though, this will not hurt her chances at being noticed for her strong consevative republican opinion, maybe thats a goal for her, who knows.

Its ok for her to have this opinion as this is the USA and we ALL should be entitled to our opinion without being called names for it. Where we go wrong is when we try to force our opinions on others or have it effect other peoples private lives. If you have never been discriminated against, or had a loved one that has been, you most likley have no idea what im talking about.

Rosie is a person who has, and by the very kind of people that think like EH thinks. That is alot for any person to swallow with a bite tounge. Sometimes I think if everyone could experience that kind of feeling of disaprovale and hate , there would be no hate.I dont think anybody does it in mean spirits , most of the time,they just dont get it.

As a person, I like Rosie - I honestly believe that she's a caring person who gives of herself. However, I disagree with her completely on her politics. Despite that, you won't see me on here calling Rosie names and the like.

Still, that being said, if it comes down to a "friend thing", Rosie was not acting like a friend when she said EH couldn't handle two thoughts at once or calling her thoughts "republican crap." She hasn't really been a friend to EH at all in clips I've seen (not a regular watcher here -- just someone who watches clips on YouTube -- so I'm sure Rosie says nice things to her). I honestly think EH had just had enough.

Despite thinking that Rosie is nice and all, with the way Rosie espouses her beliefs, I'm not sure I could, or would want to, be friends with her and I think maybe EH felt the same way. It's not that I can't be friends with people who don't share my beliefs (I wouldn't have many friends if that were the case ), but I don't think I could be friends with someone who shared their beliefs in the way Rosie does - forcefully and often.

Watching some clips does not give you the entire picture of the situation. The women had been setting rosie up for this explosion all week, they were going to get some good rating out of her last three weeks. The entire thing started with Joy saying, let me give you a list of why I dont like the president, or something close to that. Rosie sat there , EH chimed back into Joy and rosie lost it.

it all boiled down to EH did not support rosie when asked if she thought the troops were terrorist. Non support from a friend. There was alot of back drama to the entire thing and if you did not have all the info, I can see why you would have the opinion you do.

Blind support of a party and a politician is not a smart thing, even a charac ter like trump said that to support the war going on now is just plain stupid. Now keep in mind , thats not the troops thats the war. Which what rosie has always stated as well untill FOX news spined it . Thats not a knock on the republicans just a statement of what happened. You can go to you tube by the way and see what rosie said way back when this started, and it was never that she thought the troops were terrorist. EH towed her party line over her friend. Maybe I'm blind but what I saw was Rosie asking Elizabeth do you think I am the way your friends are portraying me? Then Elizabeth says why don't you defend yourself? Then Rosie looked right at the camera and said that she supports the troops. Elizabeth NEVER answered if she agrees with the people saying that Rosie thinks the troops are terrorists until the blow-up on Wed. show. If EH had said no on Monday the Wed incident wouldn't have happened.
And I'm sorry but Ro was pretty calm through the whole thing. It was poor hormonal EH that was shreiking and having a fit.

I dont' believe that she thinks our troops are terrorists, however, she sure as heck implies it in that quote. So, how did Fox spin it? They used the words directly out of Rosie's mouth.

Maybe she should be a bit more clear with what she is saying so that she doesn't have to worry about people taking it the way she did not intend it. Maybe she should be the one to explain what SHE meant instead of expecting other people to do it for her. She made the mess, she should clean it up.
