Well isn't that nice? I have been a Rosie supporter her on the DIS but it really burns me when celebrities bite the hands that feed them. You had 3 weeks to finish your contract, 3 weeks your fans may have been looking forward to and you bail out. Very uncool in my opinion.

I'm sure she'll pop up somewhere. I would think that she has had no shortage of offers since she announced that she was leaving the View in June.
I do think that walking out like this was not the best way to handle it. I think she and EH should have talked it out and tried to be adults and work together. That's what REAL co-workers have to do when they have disagreements. We can't just quit when someone hurts our feelings.

It really does make me mad when celebrities act like this. After Kim Cattral turned all witchy after SATC, I won't watch her. I can't stand certain TV stars that act like TV is below them after they make it in movies. Sarah Michelle Gellar is one that comes to mind.

One thing I noticed (and I could not find on this thread).....Why was Elisabeth using FOOTBALL references when yelling at Rosie???? Very uncharacteristic.

She probably was using football references because she's married to an NFL quarterback.

I'm surprised you are assuming it is a celebrity witchy stunt. She is going through menopause so she is pretty hormonal. She seemed truly hurt about her situation with Elizabeth who was a friend of hers. She may just be done. There have been moments in my life where I was DONE and I'm just glad I didn't have to be on national TV to experience them. I might cut her a little slack.

Her wife's 40th birthday celebration has been mentioned and she talked about how everyone was drinking heavily but she went to bed so she was ready for work. She never mentioned getting sloshed.

you don't need to be sloshed to have a bad alchol/anti-depressant reaction. Alcohol is just bad news for any person who suffers from depression as it is a DEPRESSANT, let alone it has a bad effect with the meds. More than 1 drink every once in awhile (like wine with dinner) is bad.

I agree, she looked nutty on the show, and my goodness, her comments on her blog reflect total depression, she probably became so sick, she can't work.

PS - Nice that she turned the comments off on her blog. I guess she couldn't take the fans being angry with her. That's okay - I have patience to wait for her to turn it back on.

Why does it matter that it was a football reference? The analogy was effective. You don't give away your game-plan as Rosie was saying the US should have had the "courtesy" to do . I'm guessing she used the football analogy because that is what she knows best. No biggie.

I think her leaving the show prematurly due to personal issues is a slap in the face to the fans who have supported her through this year. She had 3 more weeks, it isn't like there wasn't a light at the end of the tunnel for her.

I don't watch the show and frankly didn't know who Elisabeth was until I just looked it up and found the clip.

I am no fan of Rosie's but she asked a very straight forward question "Do you believe that I think the troops are terrorists?" and she would not answer.

This type of "CRAP" is great for a show's ratings. I'm sure the producers love it which is why they did not cut away.

Here is a little more info - I just heard on MSNBC that Rosie TRASHED her dressing room after the show. Also her head writer was "escorted from the building" (ie: thrown out) for being caught drawing mustaches on picures of EH in the studio.

Wow. Grown up. And these women wanted us to listen to what they had to say. "Get beat in a verbal argument, lash out physically"

Anyone remember when Rosie was funny?

Ya know, Rosie's actions mirror very much someone else I know who suffers from severe depression. The "lashing out at everyone with a vengence and then being totally hurt when someone lashes back." All of the sudden, total amnesia about their own actions. This must be a symptom of severe mental illness.

Everyone knows I don't like Rosie, but this just played out SO SAD and ridiculous for her that I just have to cut some slack and say she must be suffering from mental illness instead of saying what I want to say (which is probably alot like what Trump has been quoted as saying.)

She just keeps screaming "why won't you answer me Elisabeth? Why won't you answer me Elisabeth?" to try to drown out EH. . Rosie fights like my DH .

I think it is so sad the way Rosie left the view. I'm not sure who would want to hire her or who would watch her again. I would like to see her get help because it is very obvious she needs it. Because this started Monday..Wednesday was just the straw that broke the camels back. On Monday EH would NOT answer the question. The damage was done then.

If you saw Thursday's show (it was preempted on the East Coast) and read her blog, you knew she had decided she wasn't coming back the minute she left that studio Wednesday.
