If you are taking Eliquis what pain reliever can you take?

I have been taking Coumadin for many years, and was told to only take Tylenol. But a few weeks ago I switched to Eliquis but not sure what pain reliever I could take for cold or flu symptoms.

Tylenol is still ok with Eliquis.

Same as with Coumadin. I switched to Eliquis from Coumadin about 6 months ago too. I just take Tylenol. I was really sick with a throbbing ear infection last week and I was really tempted to sneak in some Advil, but I just stuck with the Tylenol even though it doesn't work as well for me as Advil did pre-blood thinners

My husband is on Eliquis. The drs. instructions to me were that Tylenol only. Other pain relievers increase the risk of bleeding.

My mom’s doctors have told her that Tylenol’s the only OTC pain reliever she can take with Eliquis.

No aspirin, no Motrin/ibuprofen, no Aleve/naproxen.

This was literally the answer I got from Google, by the way. I don't take blood thinners.

As @dish rag said, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

I was on Eliquis for about 8 months last year. I couldn't take Ibuprofen but could take Tylenol.

I've taken Eliquis for almost two years. I only take regular Tylenol. For colds, my doctor told me I could use Mucinex DM for coughs and an expectorant.
