eligible rooms for FD?

Hello! Disney newbie here! I am sorry if this is a silly question.

I have seen a lot of talk about people getting various rooms at various resorts with the FD plan. Is there a place to read about or can someone tell me which rooms will be eligible for free dining? I plan on calling on Thursday at 6am for my trip OCt 19-22. My hubby would like to stay at French Quarter. Will be able to get a room with two queen beds (we also have a daughter)? I don't think I care if I have to take a garden view or another "more expensive" room.

There's really no way of telling what will be available and what's not until you call. Disney Visa card holders are able to book free dining now, with FD opening up to the general public on Thursday and what is available for Visa card holders now might even be different than what's available on Thursday. Since there are a limited number of rooms offered with promos, I would have a 2nd and 3rd resort choice in mind just in case your 1st choice isn't available. Good luck .

Thank you for the advice! Our second choice is Pop. I don't have a third choice in mind. I guess I better get thinking about that!!

This is the first time I am making Disney plans on my own. When I went in 2010, but dad did all of the calling. I need all the help I can get! LOL

Wanted to add: Once you give the all the names on your ressie, they should not be putting you in a King Size room. They will put you in a room that accommodates 3. [The exception being if your child is under three, and you request and pay for a King room.]
