What method do you recommend to use to make and gather electronic signatures on documents, like a contract? Ideally, it would be a free for both parties. Thanks in advance!
Personally use Adobe Sign for anything signature related but unless you have an Acrobat license it will be a charge.
I honestly don't think there would be a free option that would have things like audit trails and such that make it legally enforceable like a wet signature in the US.
DocuSign, but the one sending (collecting the signature) pays (there is a 30 day trial though)
I use it for all my dvc rental contracts, I am biased because I worked for them for a long time though!
If you want something that is likely to be legally enforceable you will have to pay, free options will be clunky and leave each person figuring out how to apply a signature which may or may not meet legal requirements.
