Electric Pot Pourrie Burner-YC?

I know I must be spelling this wrong, but hopefully you understand. Does anyone use an Electric Pot for their YC tarts? So far I've only used the kind with the candles, but the store where I buy them told me last time I went that that's what they use all the time. They didn't know until I showed them the directions on the back of the tarts. But now I'm wondering-the store said they've never had a problem, and those ones for the candles are hard for me to find around here! Anyone know if I can use the electric?

I almost bought an electric one, but then I remembered reading in my Yankee Candle catalog that it recommended that you not use the electric kind.....didn't really specifiy why...so I took their word for it and bought the kind used with the little tea light candles.

I found a bag of 100 of the tea light candles in Walmart, I don't think it cost me more than a few dollars.
