Electric Parade at DCA

Is this the same parade that used to play in MK and in DL? With the orginal music? If so, why is it playing in DCA?

Yes, the same. They discontinued it at DL and through popular demand they brought it back, but to DCA as they had a replacement parade at DL. Enjoy.

Also they changed the name from the "Main Street electrical parade" to "Disney's Electrical Parade" when they moved the parade to DCA. I guess cause it would be weird as its no longer playing on Main Street.

Right - now I recall the full name - I think that's why I was about it being at DCA!

After seeing it in January, for the first time since childhood, I can't even imagine it in the narrow crowded streets of Disneyland. Having it on those broad pathways of DCA was just so perfect!

(this might just be perception, by the way, not total reality, that there's more room for the dancers and floats at DCA)

The pathways are indeed wider at DCA, so this does allow for more room, but it is not 100% the same as a couple of the original floats are at the smithsonian or some such place.
