We've been there the last week of September in '03, '06 and '07. I've never seen this place open. We'll be there the last week of September this year, here's to hoping we can try it finally. (We were there in April '01 and April '05 and it wasn't open then either)

AH, yes, the mysterious counter rest.! we loved it years ago. but it is owned by a dif. company and doesn't open during slow times. I think it was dec early that it was open, but not for another half hour, and we didn't want to wait.
we liked it cause we ordered the 2 tacos meal as a snack to split (no, I don't mean it was a snack "credit").

owned by a different company, really? I've only been there once and it was FANTASTIC! It was Easter week in 2004. Never seen it opened since, but always walk by hoping it's open.

Yea!! I hope it is!! I've been there fall, spring and summer and have never seen it open!

Figures...the one year we DON'T do Easter break. Oh well...I'll take Food and Wine over one CS place any time!

I totally agree, I think the food at P&P is awful, it repeats on me all night long but DH loves it and always goes to see if it is open.....

But there is no contest F&W is soooo much better!

I've gone for years and stay for weeks and have NEVER seen that darn place open! We usually go off peak which I'm sure is the reason, but seriously?? I mean why have a restaurant in WDW that is never open??

It was open 4/28-5/7 this year when we were there. The kids and I (dh didn't eat here) loved it. They say they want to go back.
