EIGHT dollars for AYCE Nuggets?????

Call me cheap but I don't find this to be a deal!

My son and I were rolling past our neighborhood Chick Fil A Sunday and saw a sign saying All You Can Eat Chicken Nuggets Tuesday 5- 8pm. Well, of course, since chicken nuggets are the 6th food group for 12 yo boys my son promised me the world if I would take him.

I figured "what the heck, it should be no more than $4.99".... right???

Well I called last night and they informed me that it was $7.98!! JUST FOR NUGGETS?????

HOW many nuggets could you eat for eight dollars??? I don't see the deal!

Well, I made the stupid error of promising this to my son and his friend so I'm stuck with 2 12yo boys and $16.00 worth of chicken nuggets. Call me cheap but I think those things should be GOLD nuggets for that price....

Ummm... to me Chick Fil A would be worth it! At least if they ate a lot! They are excellent nuggets and real chicken... not the crappy processed stuff you get everywhere else. Just smaller chicken tenders or the like.

Well, I just found out my sister and her AYCE husband are coming to town... I guess Chick Fil A better get out ALL of their chicken nuggets!

I agree, they do have the best nuggets of anyone, I just hope they offer more than that for 8 dollars!!

Chick Fil A Nuggets are fairly expensive to begin with, so I don't think the price is too bad. Do fries and drinks come with it?

I don’t know, Robin. If you got Colin in there he could eat them out of nugget house and home. I know he’s so thin, but it’s deceptive—he can put away some serious food! Chick-fil-A is definitely expensive, but it’s soooo yummy.

Well it turned out to be worth every penny!

The person on the phone got it wrong, it DOES come with a LARGE waffle fries and a cup of cole slaw. The price is quite reasonable considering the nugget combo by itself is nearly $7.00 by itself!

The give you a plate, 5 nuggets and the sides on a platter. Some poor soul then comes around numerous times with HOT nuggets in a bowl that he plops on the plate, 6 at a time. I honestly saw some men getting at least 100 nuggets and just inhaling them! I sat there with my salad just in AWE! The guy who doled them out was just a doll, offering any and all things waitresses usually do, here at a Chick Fil A, no less!

Michael insists we make this a regular Tuesday trip since it is literally the ONLY fast food restaurant my nutrition recommends. All in all had a very nice experience there, I'm sure Mr. Truett is somewhere smiling at the quality of the people he has working there!
