Has anyone heard a news report about Ei$ner visiting WDW within the next two weeks? I was listening to 100.3 FM, an oldies station in Orlando, and I caught the tail end of news bite that said that Michael Ei$ner was going to be at WDW during the first two weeks of February. Have not heard anything since. This would be a great opportunity for me to wear my "Say No to Eisner and support Roy Disney " golf shirt when we go down next week. Can you imagine? I might get booted out of the resort by the big s_ _ _ himself. Wow! ::yes:: Does anyone know if there is some kind of event going on at the resort that would cause Ei$ner almighty to make an appearence? :hyper:

Oh yes! He's scheduled to be in WDW....to meet....Invited, investment analysts in a conference......Mind you...the ONLY ANALYSTS he'll be meeting with....are those who's brokerage firms list DIS (Disney) as a BUY.......those analysts who's firms have chosen to recommend to their clients that Disney is a "Hold" or "Sell" are not invited. IN FACT...some have been UNINVITED.....purely on a basis of their current recommendations!!..........a decision as to who is welcome.,...was made by Mr. Ei$ner.

I wonder how many will have to go to the parks to make it look full. Or is that President week?

Just wondering for the first time here, we heard fireworks at 11:00 p.m.
Just after 9:00 each night we hear Illuminations. We really don't pay much attention to that noise anymore.
We were surprised at the 11:00 p.m. fireworks. We heard them for roughly 10 minutes and they were big ones, no doubt.
I have heard PI has NYE every night. But we have not heard fireworks from there before. Even with nights of heavy cloud cover. If they are at midnight -- which sounds reasonable -- we would be asleep. But I would think we would have heard them at least a few times. We are straight over from DTD.

Anyone know what the 11 p.m. fireworks heard tonight were from?

Private party -- some company doing a convention down here rented out part of the park for their closing night party, and bought a fireworks show for the finale.

Not exactly an unusual move for a CEO. He's not going to invite people who aren't trying to sell his stock. This should be surprising, or something to be looked down upon. It's business.

Erin :D

Maybe instead of uninviting people they should be invited and shown why they should change their recommendations. What do you all think?:(

What do you all think?

Well 40plus.......I think that a publicly held company should relish Transparency.....as a fundemental ally in it's relations to it's stockholders......and the current policy does NOT promote that.

Okay, getting back to my original question, does anybody know for sure if Ei$ner is at WDW either this week or next.? And, if I call his office in California, will they actually tell me if he is or not? Anyone ever attempt a call to his office in the past?
