I was just reading another board... and the following comment was mentioned, "There's a large step on and off the monorail".

Is this true? I havent been to WDW for about 30 years, but I seem to remember just walking on.

If there is a large step on and off, how do people with wheelchairs use the monorail?

We are going in November with my senior parents who both will have ECVs. We are staying at the POLY for the monorail. Is this going to be an issue??

Thanks,
Jennifer

there is a ramp that the CM will bring up to the monorail car entrance. With that they can get on and off relatively easily.

::yes::
and here's a picture of a CM placing the monorail ramp.

There are a couple of more pictures and a bit of explanation in post #8 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread (link to that thread in my signature).
