ECV Rentals - Weight Limit?

Hello Everyone,

My father will be needing to rent an ECV for the first time when we go to Disney this year. We are debating to rent one from an outside company or just rent from Disney directly. If we rent from Disney directly, is there a weight limit for the ECV's that they have? I noticed that on the outside company website, depending upon your weight might determine the type of model you should rent. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it's 350 lbs.

The transport ECVs normally have a 250 pound limit, most standard ECVs have a 350 pound limit, and then the heavier duty ones will have a 450 pound limit with some as high as 500.

If you rent from an outside vendor, and plan to use Disney transportation, make sure the ECV isn't too big to fit on the bus! There was a thread on here not too long ago about how big an ECV could be to fit on the bus.
