If we rent an EVC:

Will the smaller ones from Walker fit in the trunck of a Toyota Avalon or a Dodge Intrepid?

Would you recommend driving to the parks, parking in H/C and putting the ECV together, or do you prefer using the Disney buses?

Parking: Mom really wants it to get around, but doesn't think she'll actually need it for standing in line for rides (going in early Dec. so the lines are a little shorter). Is there a place to park the ECVs outside of rides, show, restaurants? If you leave it parked with the strollers, do the CMs try to move them around like they do the strollers?

I have, in the past, rented a Dodge Intrepid and did not have any problem with the ECV from Walker. I don't know about the Avalon.

Please look at the FAQ for the disassembly/assembly instructions.

I would always use a car to get to the parks to not have to depend on Disney Transport. It generally is good, but there can be problems with the buses.

Normally I will park my ECV outside of attractions along with the strollers, but I am sure to take the key with me. Most CMs who may move them know how to put the ECVs in "freewheel" so it can be pushed or maneuvered. If it appears that there is a chance of rain, I will attempt to park it inside a restaurant. As far as shows, I will generally take it in with me to avoid prolonged standing in the preshow area.
