Econolodge in Cocoa Beach

Has anyone stay here lately? We're flying in the night before and just need a place to sleep for one night. Thought it might be nice to be near the beach in the morning. Room rate for 2 adults and to kids is $67 plus taxes.

It's now a La Quinta. I haven't stayed there but it looks fine.

You might check thru Priceline. Generally, rooms in the Cocoa Beach area are going for $25-39 per night if the "brand name" on the hotel is not an issue. All hotels are serviced by Art's shuttle for $3 per person if you need transportation to the port.

thanks for the info. This is my backup ressie. I'm still trying for a Priceline bargan, but haven't been lucky yet. I've done 3* & 2* in the Cocoa Beach and Merritt Area @ $45 and still came up empty. Our trip is the 3rd of April, so I'll keep trying.
