Those of you who've been writing that you're rather disappointed in the latest installment of the Outlander series are going to be shocked:
William has done something INTERESTING, and I'm actually glad the catamount didn't eat him! For a moment -- when he was trying to kill a snake with a cast iron frying pan -- I had a glimpse of the books I've loved, and at this point I am actually feeling involved with William's part of the plot.
Ian's portion is really getting better too; of course, I've always loved Ian, whereas I've been rather ambivalent about William.
Jamie and Claire aren't doing much here mid-book though.
