Yes, you can bring your own on the ship as long as you carry it on and do not pack it. You are free to consume it in your room without a corkage fee. If you bring it into the MDRs, there is a $20 corkage fee. I don't drink wine, I perfer vodka, but my sister is a huge wine drinker. She just brings her own and has a glass before dinner. Don't forget your corkscrew opener! My sister walks by a bar on the first night and asks for a wine glass and uses it in the room.
I am not sure about the selections or prices but I know you can per-order a wine package.
And don't worry, you are late on your alcohol consumption planning, one of the first things I asked was, Is there a liquor store within walking distance to Disneyland? Got to stock up in Cali before we board.
thanks for the welcome! because of this cruise, we decided to cancel the Galveston cruise. but that cruise paid for this one AND airfare.

There's no way my 9 year old will be able to help me wrangle my, shall we say, "bottle collection." He'll be too busy hauling all the FE gifts!
Yes you do have kids so that they can do things for you. You just need to know where to draw the line.
I guess my kids carrying my liquor is my line, don't worry, you'll find yours!

And before all parents on this board warn their children to stay away from the crazy drunk kid-less lady
Sorry you won't be on the Magic but glad you could join us for this cruise.
Looking forward to meeting you.![]()

Okay folks, I'm trying to "drink-in" all 208 pages and the fabulous website. I know the answer is in here somewhere and i'm about to make my flight arrangements.
1) By what time to we need to be at the World Cruise Center in LA on the 9th and
2) What is the earliest time to make a flight from Ft. Lauderdale after arrival in Miami?
Sorry for so many newbie questions.![]()

The coffee table in the cabin raises and lowers. This makes it handy for room service and for kids to color, etc. I didn't learn about this until my second cruise.
Order coffee from room service the night before and it will stay hot in the carafe overnight. In the morning you have your first cup while getting ready for the day.

My favorite on a 14 day cruise is to have room service deliver me cookies and iced tea in the laundry room when I am doing the clothes on a middle sea night.

I have been following this thread since the beginning. But Procrastination delayed my booking until today.
I have my FE stuff ready and waiting to be packed. (Store bought but good stuff and useful.)
If I could be placed on a FE group even late as I am, it would be a nice treat for my other cruisemates.I will still hang my FE outside my cabin, even if I do not get to join a group. Maybe some kindhearted souls will take pity on me and drop off a small trinket.
Hey, I'll even take leftover Halloween candy.
I certainly will not expect anything...Especially from the craft making folks. I've seen some of the surprises you people turn out in other DisBoard Threads. I could never hope to compete.I don't have a crafty bone in my whole body.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Normally debarkation runs very smoothly but, as this will be the first time Disney docks in Miami it could take awhile longer. Therefore, we will be flying out of FLL at 2:20. Figured that would give us plenty of time to get there.
I believe that as long as you are on the ship about 1/2 hour before Muster Drill you should be fine. Also, the port is in San Pedro.
Don't worry. If I have given you any wrong info someone here will set you straight.
Mojitos anyone?
Beth
Well, I finally went ahead and booked the OGT.
Can we agree that the difference in price we solo cruisers pay is still excessive? And, you know that Disney changed the single supplement from 175% to 200%.![]()

Well Pam, perhaps we could do our own FE with any other late bookers. I was going to bring my FE as well b/c it's so cute. My husband was disappointed b/c he made little treasure chests with deblume cufflinks for the men on last cruise. But again, i understand that a cutoff is a cutoff. Folks have been planning way longer than us.![]()
QUOTE=Cruise;46481901]I'm a solo cruiser and I did actually get the IGT. I just went to the website and put in a solo cruiser to check the rate. The difference between what I paid for the IGT and what the OGT is going for now is .... $279.00
I'd say go ahead and book it and treat yourself to a window for $279.![]()
