What I've seen some people do is have a separate "late comers" FE group and then any of those in the original group that have extras join that group as well. For example, I believe we're at 72 cabins. If someone in the original group decided to do all 72 cabins, but the supplies they ordered only came in lots of 100, they might have extras and be willing to join the second, late comers group.

If one of you wanted to organize that, you might have a few people join in. :)

Good idea.

If any late comers come along after October 8th for the first FE group, PM me names, ages of kids, and stateroom.

I'm confused:confused3
I went to Jeff's site and clicked into the FE list (s). I understand that the Master list has 72 cabins. But then there are five or six additional lists with character names. These lists have varying numbers of cabins and the names of the participants seem to be identical.
How was the master list split? Are some Dis members on more than one list?
Do the different lists portion out adults to children to cabin occupancy?

Request::idea:
If late arrivals cannot be accommodated with the present division...can you add a column for us anyway...so we have a place to congregate and form a new group?

Thanks,
Pam

Does anyone know if the kids club still does the overnight pyjama party? I just read about this on a trip report from a couple of years ago.

I am up late packing for our first Disney cruise. We leave out of Galveston tomorrow for 7 days. So excited. I will catch up on this forum when we get back.:yay: sherry

Well, I finally went ahead and booked the OGT.
Can we agree that the difference in price we solo cruisers pay is still excessive? And, you know that Disney changed the single supplement from 175% to 200%.
And, I am still paying for a porthole, split bathroom, more storage, and more room than my singular self requires.:upsidedow

So, my original offer to Cabin Swap (see post#3063) is still open. Anyone who booked an IGT, and was not lucky enough to get pixie dusted to a better cabin, and still thinking about an upgrade to an Oceanview...keep me in mind. :wave2:

Thanks,
Pam

Pam, We will keep you in mind as well. With 3 of us in a possible 11c, we may really want the extra room.

Not sure about pricing though. It actually appears you paid less than our equiv (2adult) IGT rate.

GOOD Morning, happy cruisers!

OK. In simple terms, the master list has everyone. The smaller lists are a breakdown of 'everyone' such that each list has roughly the same number of 'people' on it. Some people are on more than one list because they wish to give to 'everyone'.

Pam, you can BRING your FE stuff and put it in as many FE as you wish to. You can even "hang out" your FE if you wish but your expectations for receiving should be low. I am bringing as many fe gifts as I can accomplish, but not on any list to receive. We were SO overwhelmed with what we received from the Hawaii cruise, I just opted not to.

Cards are ordered. I went with:
SEAson's Greetings from the Disney Wonder
Wishing you smooth sailing as you cruise into the Holiday Season and the New Year.

DH was quick to point out that the photos were from our Fantasy cruise in April, not from the Wonder.

Those are GREAT! I LOVE it!

Wow, you guys put me to shame! And I thought I was on top of things! We aren't doing a tree this year as we will still be in FL. for Christmas but I will need to ship presents. We travel to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving and I am throwing a baby shower on that Saturday after on the east side of PA and then off to my family's Thanksgiving on Saturday night and packing the kids and my sister on Sunday.
Talk about overload. GIRL, you are NUTS!

Hi folks! We just booked this cruise tonight! We've always wanted to do this and it's the first time we're cruising without the kids. can't take them out of school for two weeks but i can take off work for two weeks! Looking forward to it. I've asked to join the facebook page and see that this site is pretty active.

This will be our 5th Disney cruise.

Natalie and Melvin

Welcome aboard!pixiedust:

Columbus Zoo yesterday, in the cold and overcast. If you ever get a chance to visit Columbus, WHAT an amazing town. The ZOO was fab. In the past, we've enjoyed the art museum and the Franklin Park Conservatory. There's also a science museum. And can I just tell you about the German food at Schmitz? YUMMMMMMM.

Happy Day, all!

FE Exchange - Latecomers

If you would like me to, I can add the late comers to the master list on the spreadsheet at the bottom and ask current participants to add them to their list if they are able.

PM me the names of the adults in your cabin and the name, age, and sex of the children in your cabin, your cabin number and your email address.

Tammy

We have "extras" of our one cabin's gift because of this reason. It was actually cheaper to order more of the custom item. So we would be happy to include you guys from this cabin, the other cabin's gift is homemade and time consuming and I am just not sure if I will have time to make more, or even finish the orginial cabins!

Have a great time! Looking forward to hearing about it when you return.

Tell me about it, I also forgot to mention the "surprise" 30th birthday party my DH is throwing for me AT OUR HOUSE. Big thanks to my boss for letting me know so that I can make sure the house is clean, DH won't even think about that. Also, we have two out of towns wedding in Oct/Nov and a weekend trip to Morgantown, WV for a WVU game in November. Thanks big sister for the awesome gift. It will be nephew's first college football game, so excited. I don't think we have any free weekends between now and the cruise.

DH and I woke up to sad news this morning, our friend's (DH's childhood friend and now co-worker) wife died suddenly and unexpectly in her sleep last night. She was in great shape (ran college track with DH) and was a doctor. We had just attended her 30th birthday party. We had just been trying to convience them to book the OGT rate on Thursday night and come with us. Looks like DH's work trip to India is going to be canceled. Such a wake up call on how precious life really is.

Aww. thanks so much! I know how much time, effort and love into the handmade gifts so appreciate what you can give. We will share the same DIsney pixiedust with you!

So DH informed me he was only going to bring one pair of black dress shoes on the cruise (last cruise I packed him black dress shoes and his tux shoes) and we decided to pack just his tux shoes because we (I) don't like the look of plain black shoes with the tux. Well he changed his mind because he doesn't want to wear his tux shoes with his suit on Christmas and we will still be in Fl with family.

So has anyone ordered from the formalwear rental company before? just shoes? I was thinking of just ordering tux shoes from them for the 2 weeks and just packing the black dress shoes. The $12 might be worth it to keep us both happy.

I'm so sorry to hear this! Of course it hits pretty close to home for me since Dh died suddenly at 32. He was also in great shape. He had an undiagnosed genetic heart condition that we had no clue about. I wonder if your friend had the same heart disease? I had never heard of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) before Dh's passing, but I hear about it all the time now. Too many lives taken too early. :grouphug:

Tammy, I'm making two gifts for my FE list. I'm currently working on the 2nd gift, and I may have some extras of that gift that I can give to the late comers, but I won't know until I'm done putting them together for my list first. If I do have extras, I'd be happy to join their group, but how will I know which people are in the late group if they are added to the master list since it is in alphabetical order? Is it possible to give them their own tab so they are more easily identifiable? Or is this too much extra work for you? You've done such a fabulous job, :thumbsup2 and I certainly don't want to add to your plate, but thought I'd ask.

:grouphug: so sorry to hear about this - prayers for you, your DH and your friend's family. This is a reminder to cherish the moments we have, you just never know.

Tammy, I may have some extra FE's that I can give to late comers, but I won't know until I'm done putting them together as I need to make sure I have enough for my list first. If I do have extras, I'd be happy to join their group, but how will I know which people are in the late group if they are added to the master list? Is it possible to give them their own tab so they are more easily identifiable? Or is this too much extra work for you? You've done such a fabulous job. I appreciate all of your effort! :thumbsup2

I will add the late additions to the bottom of the spreadsheet on the master list, but they will not be added to any of the group lists. If you are able to accomodate them, then you can add them to your list. They understand that not everyone will be able to accomodate the additions.

Perfect! I've looked at the spreadsheet and it is crystal clear who the late comers are. :welcome: to them! I'll let the newcomers know if I have extra FE's to send their way.

thanks for the welcome and extras if you have them. No worries if you don't. We just booked 2 days ago on a whim so we've missed out on a lot of the DISboards fun so trying to catch up. :-)
