We are also very interested in Linda's tour in Cartagena, but we want a walking tour of the old city, so I'm waiting to see if that will be part of her package.
It should be, unless the group requests otherwise...the old city seems to be part of every basic tour. But that's why I like privately-arranged tours...for the most part, they can be customized to your needs/wishes.
I just booked the "Mayan Experience" for our family a few minutes ago!

Did Ivan mention the maximum # per group? If several people book this particular excursion, I wonder how many Mayan homes they have available to host a group for lunch?
No, no mention of a maximum #; I'm sure they could accommodate any size group as long as they have a large-enough vehicle available. I'm not really expecting to have lunch all by ourselves; I wouldn't be surprised if another group or two didn't join us, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure if it's a home, or a larger outside area we'll be in, but it looks like a lot of fun. I read that they really appreciate school supplies or toys for the local kids, so I'll be bringing some goodies.
We were in PV in December on the Wonder. We booked our own zipline excursion through Los Veranos because the port time was longer. I'm still working out what we'll do this time because the port time is so short. We'll probably just take the bus and walk around the Malecon. They also have a zoo in PV that is different from zoos in the U.S. because you can actually interact with the baby animals (tiger cubs, etc). It'll require a bus/cab ride to the zoo and a lot of walking at the zoo.
Ah, yes, I remember you mentioning that before. Sounds great for little ones, although I know my grown niece and daughter would also enjoy it, if we had more time. I'm thinking my mom may just want to stay onboard that day, so we'll probably check out the Malecon and possibly the flea market areas.
