O.K......I will be going to Orlando, FL with my family for the first time in the later part of April...YEAH!!! We plan to do Disney World for 5 days and Universal for 2. The Disney tickets are taken care of, now, I need to get the tickets for Universal. I was told that if I visit eBay, I can find cheap tickets on auction. I took a look and saw many tickets offered at deep discount prices. Now, I need to know if these tickets are legit. Has anyone ever got tickets via eBay? If this is not a good idea then can anyone suggest where or how I can obtain cheap/discounted tickets?
Thanks! :wave2:

I've been in line with people who have bought hoppers to WDW and passes to Universal off of Ebay only to find out the days have expired or worthless. not a good way to start off a vacation. the Universal website has the best offer on tickets ever right now. buy an adult 2 day pass and get a child's at no extra cost, plus 3 days extra in the parks. no ticket broker can offer you that. plus, multi-day passes require a biometric scan to combat selling the unused tickets on places like Ebay.

I would be leery of buying tickets on Ebay or any site for the different parks.
Do you have a membership at AAA? They have good prices on Theme Park tickets. :wave2:

EXACTLY. DH & I were in Tampa for a few weeks in early FEB and Universal Studios was running an AD on the radio offering some serious discounts to the PARKS. Def check the Universal site for tickets. That would be your SAFEST bet. :thumbsup2

Actually the person who is selling these eBay tickets, an ebayer by the user name of "fejjj," is selling these tickets for higher than the tickets on the Universal site. This person has simply purchased massive amounts of buy one get one free tickets and then selling them for full price, even the free ones. Please don't buy these tickets as Universal is aware of this sale and tickets may very well be voided by the time you use them.

First of all, thanks for the replies to my post. I am a AAA member. I live in California. Should I call and talk to a AAA rep about Universal Tickets? I didn't think I can get a AAA discount to an out of state attraction. I thought you had to live in the state to get the discount. Secondly, it will be all adults that will be going on the vacation, so the buy 2 get kids free won't do me any good. :surfweb:

Go online to AAA. In MA., they list all the Theme Park tickets right there for you to see. Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal, Six FLags etc etc!!!

If you are not registered online with AAA, it is very easy. Just need your card # and name. You sign up and you are good to go....EASY & EASY!!! :thumbsup2

And if the tickets that this person buys at ebay do not scan properly at the entrance gate, he/she will have to go to the guest services window, and he/she will have to explain a lot about the tickets to guest services. Not a good way to start a vacation.
