I'm hoping that someone here knows the answer to this question.
I sold an item on eBay, and the seller left me neutral feedback. It was my error (I neglected to type one word in the description
), so I issued him a refund through PayPal and sent him a message apologizing for the confusion. I also told him to keep the item if he wishes.
The problem is, I now have a neutral feedback on my record. I'm not a high volume eBayer, so it tarnishes my reputation. I seem to recall that there used to be a way to write a note under neutral or negative feedback. But, I'm not seeing the option to do that. I'd simply like to write that I acknowledged the mistake and refunded his money.
Can I respond to the feedback? Thanks.
p.s. On a related note, I would like to have a small vent about people who leave bad feedback WITHOUT contacting the person first. Grrrrr!
