So... after 6 years of having an in-home daycare and 16 years as a preschool teacher, I am moving on to a big girl job.
I have tons of supplies, toys, equipment, etc. and was wondering if any of my fellow budget friends could give me some pointers for the best way to raise Disney funds while clearing out these things. I have looked at ebay and am worried that it just would not be worth my time and effort; especially with shipping costs. The past few times we had a yard sale, my DH gave many items away for a quarter.
I was thinking of bagging items in gallon sized bags and setting firm prices on them at a yard sale. I have various building toys etc that I know I paid decent money for even when I bought them second hand myself. Have any of you had a good experience with ebay? Is it worth my time to list items there? Would it be better to sell them in lots and groups? Do any of you have luck with this sort of thing on Craigs List? Or does a yard sale look like my best option?
I would love to hear any of your pointers or tips.
