I'm wondering if for "Shots Around the Ship" I can convince them to having singing alongs in Sessions, the piano bars I used to go to in NYC in my youth.

If not there... then the promenade... and if we get really sauced.. then there IS the piano in the main lobby...

We'll just miss you at WDW! We'll arrive on 12/26 and stay through 1/9. Have a great time on the Magic for NYE. We'll be in EPCOT that night which will be great, but nothing, I'm sure, like being on the Magic!

CRAFTY we arrive on the 9th of jan, lol

ok sounds like we have our own game of tag your it at WDW going on, Karl what day do you leave and that's the next day someone needs to plan a trip :rotfl: hey any excuse to get to see the Mouse :goodvibes

Karl, I didn't know you had kids :cool2: You kept that under cover. Is your older one coming home now that school is out or is she out of the house and living on her own? I can only dream of the days that college will come. It seems so far away when you are in the middle school years

Hi Gina,
Christmas is coming???? Sometimes I am so unplugged. Commercilizim (and commercials) drives me crazy. We're scaling back this year (thinking of Barcelona) consolidating our family....one gift per person from the BOTH of us.
Rebecca is EVERYWHERE, surely walking by Christmas.
Happy thoughts and pixie dust to you!!
Michelle (and baby Becca)

I hear ya!!!! That is so cute, how old will she be when we cruise?? I would love to see updated pics, I loved the one of her and Sorceror Mickey!!!! Is it snowing there, there is white stuff on the ground here, yuck!!!

David, I think we will get on well, people laugh at me when i dance, I dont mind, I laugh at myself, i think i am a bit hyper active at the best of times!
How old did you say your granddaughter was? I felt so bad telling shaunie about us going on a cruise, promised all sorts to make it up to her. I feel sorry for myself too, we will really miss her:sad1: ,first holiday for 12 years she will miss, weve taken her since she was a baby.In saying that we only seen her for dinner on the last cruise.
Hope your wife is well.
Oh and david, stop moaning about your weather:rotfl: ;) It doesnt go down well when we are stuck in scotland!:cool2: :lmao:

Oh, and David...be prepared to perform for us all on the ship. I know that there is a Talent Show but I'm sure you could also take the floor in one of the clubs some night! It's probably too soon to start charging my video camera, right? ;)

Well Orlando, nobody, I mean nobody can come close to my dancing. That's because I end up literally kicking people who get too close to me on the dance floor. My arms and legs are flying all over the place. Some have said I remind them of a chicken with it's head cut off. (Don;t know weather to take that as a compliment or not.............what do you think????):lmao:
Our granddaughter Emily princess: is 9 yr's old. Sometimes she's going on 18, other times she is like she is 2 yr's old again.:confused3 Her and her dad, our son, moved in with us when she was 1 year old, and lived with us until she was about 5 1/2 yr's old. She stays with us every week-end, she has her own room at our house, and goes every where we go on vacations. She always has gone on vacations with us, so it is hard on us too not taking her on this cruise. She is taking it as a trooper, no crying, not upset ................ not yet at least.
Hey Craftymouse, sure thing fire up the video camera. Not sure you will be able to enjoy my dance'n.....................I'm usually just a blur on the floor. Not sure if everyone just sets the ol' focus to "out of focus" on purpose or not.:rotfl2: Still have never seen good footage of my moves!!!! (I think after watching me dance before starting the movie cameras, everyone films me out of focus on purpose..................anyways that's my thinking, and I'm sticking too it!!!!!):rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:
Well, everyone, it's that time again, gots to start working. Ya'll have a great day. Talk to ya'll again real soon.:yay:

Forgot to mention one thing weather. It got colder down here last night 36 degrees!!!!!!!!!! Our thermometer broke because of the cold!!!!! At least it is suppose to get up to 70 today and by the week-end around 78. I don't know how you guys up north do it!!!!! My hat's off to you. Well I don't wear hats............................it blocks the sun and I don't get an even tan!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:  Bye...bye

I saw that you are visiting FSU and UF this January. I grew up in Gainesville (UF) but went to FSU. Both are good schools. Gainesville is a nice town - easy to find your way around - but the campus is HUGE!!!! Tallahassee is harder to find your way around, but the campus is really nice. It is much more compact than UF. She wouldn't go wrong going to either school - but I am partial to FSU since it is my alma mater. :goodvibes

Thanks so much for the input. I think she is partial to FSU as well, since they specialize in producing family practitioners, which is where her interest lies. She said that she doesn't mind a big school (she loved UMass/Amherst - my alma mater) because they offer so much diversity, both in activities and student body, but I could see her going either way.

Right now RPI (Rensselear) is her #1 pick. She just got her acceptance to UConn today. She'll apply to RPI and WPI this year and defer for a year if she gets accepted. Then she'll look at some more schools in the Spring and make her final decision next year. She's currently in the Biomolecular Associate's Program at our local community college. It's a great option for her since she's still just 16. Hopefully some of those credits will transfer to whichever school she picks, but if not it's all good. She's using this time to get used to learning in a classroom since it's something she's never done before.

Thanks again for the insight. It's much appreciated!

I was wondering when someone would ask that question:goodvibes
I actually LOVE to travel so...

I'm BOUND 2 TRAVEL somewhere each year.

Here's a list of my major trips

1999 - England, Ireland and Wales
2003 - Ireland
2005 - Italy and Greece (with a three day cruise in the Med on Louis cruise line - very very small ship so I don't count it as a real cruise)
2006 - Germany, Austria and Switzerland
2008 - England, Ireland and Wales (March) Australia and New Zealand (June)
WDW trips - too many to remember

My 3 day DCL cruise in Feb 2009 and the EB TA in 2010 are my only cruises. Feb. will be my first DCL cruise.

FSU didn't have a med school when I went there so I don't know much about it. But I've heard its doing pretty good though. UF's does have it "own" hospital (Shands) which is one of the major trauma centers for North Central Florida. They do a lot of research there as well. But the parking for that hospital can be atrocious - . Actually parking on campus is as well.

(We'll be in the thick of the terrible 2's:scared1: ) She is turning out to be an INCREDIBLY BUZY girl....go,go,go,go,go.

Does hat mean you are bound to come to Scotland sometime??

How could you miss scotland???
Where in Switzeraland have you been? we go to Grindelwald skiing in Winter, I love it but expensive, usually I go with my dad but this year we are pushing the boat out and Leonard is coming sledging:rotfl:

Snow flurries in Scotland also!

Hope you guys have a good weekend, Im working ALL weekend, ah the joys, at least I have the internet:surfweb:

I do want to come to Scotland but haven't had a chance yet. There is much I want to see there. I might to a fly/drive package similar to the one I did in Ireland in 2003. That way I can make my own schedule.

We went to Lucerne in Switzerland - otherwise we were just driving through. I enjoyed going to the top of Mt. Pilatus in Lucerne. Wonderful views - I was able to take a few great pictures.

I working today and tomorrow as well, so it is great having the internet to keep from going crazy. At least I have all of next week off - :cheer2:

We had a bit of snow, funny since you really aren't that far away from us. You have my sympathy, Michelle. Think of the exercise though!! lol I didn't see his pics, love too though. Brownies is going great, had the enrolment ceremony, the girls were happy. We are doing a sleepover at the Science Centre, so they are excited about that. We are 3rd Ajax Brownies. Its alot of work for a volunteer position though. I do like it though.:goodvibes
