How much is it to cancel just the flight part of the DCL is I hold a rate now?

Can I transfer to a different city? Or must I fly back to home city?

I don't think there is a "charge" to cancel, but if you change anything regarding the flights they are using the new and accurate rates that are not the great rates we got the first 2 days. Call and ask Making sure you don't let them change anything until you have the whole picture

It seems so far away....it's a bit frustrating.

Last time we booked 5 months in advance, and it seemed an eternity...but at least I could plan the extras ans stuff....now I feel like my hands are tied. I guess I will have to content myself with looking up stuff to do at the ports of call.

A tip for those who want to flight to another city in Europe before going home...

Almost every carrier allows only one piece af checked bagage of 20kg (44 pound).
So if you have more then one piece you have to pay for it and it's not cheap it's at least €6-8 per kilo ($8-10/2.2 pound).

Keep that in mind if you want to book a seperate flight.
If you book a flight from Barcelona with a stop over at the city you want to go to then you proberbly don't have to pay for an extra piece of luggage.

I thought this was important because i hear y'all say that flying back from London is cheaper but when you have to buy not only another planeticket but also have to deal with a extra cost for luggage then maybe flying out of Barcelona is an option again.......

I'm used to the long wait, since we usually book a year or more in advance. Don't worry- the time is going to FLY by!

We too book the east bound Transatlantic cruise in April of 2010. We were able to book this cruise while aboard the Magic last weeks eastern.
Were very sad that our cruise ended last saturday, but are very excited about this transatlantic cruise. This will be our 3rd time aboard the Magic

I think we've decided to book air with DCL....it is still over $600 less then anything I can find myself right now...using 2009 rates. I think the rates are only going to go up.

How's everyone doing adjusting back to normal routine. Poor wee Rebecca is not happy being home. She keeps looking for people, and its just us here. We got some dynamite pics from Shutters. Say hello to Alec for me.
The family from Bowmanville travelling with us also rebooked onto the EB TA as well. So thats 3 Canadian families (there a little DIS shy though, I'll have to get them on).

Yes some of the pics were priceless. That one and the one with SnowWhite made Michelle tear up. Hot tub you say, oh ya missing that big time!!! We ended up spending the last night on the ship in the goofy pool hottub watching Pirates In the Carribean on the big screen until about midnight. What a great way to end the cruise.... You know if it makes you guys feel better well come down and make some towel animals for you. Unforetunately I can only make a snake or worm

Hi! I didn't get in the hot tub much during our cruise...I think it was towards the end. Maybe more this time - especially since we might have some colder nights!

I'm so excited about this cruise. I think it will be fantastic! I added 2-nights post, and think we might take some day trips. That way we can keep our luggage in one place and travel easier with the kids. I see their is an 1 1/2 hour flight to Rome...fly in around 9am, stay until around 9pm...and then sleep in Barcelona. Next day maybe just take a short train ride, maybe to Madrid. I can't wait to start planning! Think of the books we can read having so many days at sea!
