My DD's favorite princess is Cinderella and I'm looking into character meals with her. I have a few questions. . .

Does Cinderella come into the dining area at the 1900 meal or is she just in the lobby? I don't want to just see her for a picture and then be pushed off for the next person if we can have more of a "visit" in the castle and see other princesses as well.
If you've done the breakfast in the castle (name escapes me) was it worth the 2 TS credits? Or the dinner? Is there good interaction with the characters? I'm leaning towards breakfast so we can get into the park early if we did this one.

I could be wrong, but from what I recall from our dinner at Cinderella's royal table ( the castle restaurant), Cinderella did not visit the tables. We did receive a visit from her when at Akershus (the restaurant in Norway).

At the castle, you get your picture taken in the lobby with Cinderella, and then you are "pushed off for the next person". She circulates at 1900 Park Fare dinner and at Akershus, however, they don't guarantee she'll be at Akershus, it says "rotating princesses". She's been there 3 of our 4 visits.

The 1900 Park Fair meal was great for seeing Cinderella.

She's my younger DD's favorite princess too.

There were no characters for photos in the lobby though.

At the beginning of the dinner Cinderella and the prince were announced, they came out and danced together, then they circulated around the tables. DD was very shy but thrilled to meet Cinderella. After she went to a few more tables, she came up behind DD and asked her to dance. The look on DD's face when she got back to the table was priceless. She still talks about it a year later. :cloud9:

1900 Park Faire was the best for my granddaughter. She was 3 at the time Cinderella also asked her to dance the look on her face priceless! The stepsisters were so funny. We really enjoyed the show the food eh. I'm not a buffet fan it was no worse than anyother buffet we went to.

I really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare better because you do get to see Cinderella and Prince Charming. The stepsisters were fantastic. I asked one of them why Cinderella didn't hook her up with one of Prince Charmings friends and she told me that Cinderella like to keep all the men to herself.:lmao:

The castle was OK but very disappointing in how much time you actually spent with the characters and the food was way overpriced IMO. We only went once and that was enough.

On the one hand the two TS credits are worth it just to experience the inside of the castle once, get a meal and see my DD "wish upon a star". OTOH 1900 is better if actual interaction with Cindy is a priority beyond the 15 seconds of 1 on 1 for a photo.

Maybe it is planned or maybe it is the setting but at 1900 you feel like you are at their wedding reception - very friendly and relaxed vs. the ceremonial feel at the castle. (and I'm not implying the character of Cinderella was too formal - it was just my subjective feel of the whole experience - and I still think it is worth the credits - proof is that we will be there for a 3rd time this fall.)

You do spend a very short time with Cinderella in the Lobby but the castle dining experience is quite nice..we have done it twice so far, once for breakfast & once for dinner, think everyone should try it at least once. OTOH we all including my 4 yo DD at the time had a fun time at 1900, the interaction was great and the step-sisters were hilarious. :lmao:

If Cinderella is her favorite, your daughter will love dinner at 1900 Park Fare. (We ate dinner there for my daughter's 5th birthday, and it's definitely a "magical" memory.) We also met Cinderella at Akershus on a different trip; the food was very good and it was fun, but the focus is more on Cinderella at Park Fare.

IMO, 1990 PF is a better way to interact with the characters!

ITA! We have done Akershus, CRT, and 1900 and the character interaction was best at 1900.

We also got to see Cinderella and the Prince dance together and the stepsisters were hysterical.

yes, at CRT, Cinderella does not come to your table. We had a wonderful visit with Cinderella at 1900 ~ she and Prince Charming even played ring around the rosie with my daughter and a a couple of other little girls ~ such a sweet memory!
