Eating With Chip and Dale?

DS's favorite character(s) are Chip and Dale. Last year we did Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner and thought it was totally delicious. Right now we're looking at doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but DS is waffling between breakfast and dinner there, or wanting to go back to LTT or trying the Chip and Dale Harvest Feast at Epcot. Which one is best you think? The boy is an eater and delighted to be able to go back to eat all the ribs and lamb his little heart could desire, but he can't decide and now neither can we! Suggestions? Opinions?

We have eaten at all the restaurants you mentioned. We really liked the Liberty Tree Tavern, as well as the Garden Grill at Epcot. There was a lot of interaction with Chip and Dale at the Garden Grill. The waitstaff told us that they are always "acting up". They were really hysterical. They pestered the children, teased the waitstaff and were silly the entire time. I hope if you choose to go there they are on their "worst" behavior for you. Your son will get a kick out of them. I thought the character interaction at Chef Mickey's was really rushed, but that may have just been our experience. I read many very positive posts about CM.

they have not been appearing at chef mickey's for months now

Chip & Dale are no longer at Chef Mickey's, according to several posts on these boards and the CM I talked to when I made my reservations there several weeks ago.

They are at Garden Grill in Epcot, though.

Another vote for Garden Grill! :thumbsup2 My DS also loves Chip and Dale and we really enjoyed the food there as well (last May). We liked the restaurant so much that, for the last night of our trip, we actually canceled our ADR somewhere else and went BACK to GG again!

We love Garden Grill. The characters are always so attentive there. Food is good too.

Garden Grill is wonderful. Pluto, Chip and Dale are so funny. The food is great too. We're going back in May.

We've seen a lot of Chip and Dale at Ohana's, also.

Chip and Dale haven't been at 'Ohana since Lilo and Stich arrived.

BTW if they aren't at CM, who replaced them ? When we were there last year it was just Mickey, Goofy and C&D.

it's strictly fab five at CM's now. it used to be that generally donald and pluto would trade off between breakfast and dinner.

We've been to CM's twice for breakfast. Minnie was there both times. I understand Donald replaced Chip and Dale at breakfast, but aren't Chip and Dale at dinner? Is Minnie not regularly there?

well i dunno if you meant to quote me, but as i said, it USED to be that donald and pluto would tradeoff between breakfast and dinner. this is not the case anymore as i understand it. they both appear.

fab five: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto.

Minnie has *always* been a part of it as far as I know.

bad photos from dinner in late 2005

and of course there *were* chip & dale and no pluto at the time.

In November at CM for dinner there was no Chip & Dale. We had Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.

The best place to see Chip and Dale is Cape May Breakfast. We were there in Feb and going back this weekend. They were so cute in their bathing suits. SInce the place was not busy they spent a lot of time with us playing games and "talking". Minnie and Goofy are also there and the food is very good.

Yeah, I called Disney Dining and they confirmed that Chip and Dale aren't at Chef Mickey's anymore. For now I changed the ADR to Garden Grill although DS still just wants to eat at all three. :rolleyes2 He's almost 12 going on 20 with the appetite...

Then again DH is already planning the -next- trip and where he wants to eat for that one too. Thank God for tax refunds! :rotfl:

Actually she wasn't there for dinner in June 2006 when I was there but I understand she is a regular now.

sorry, i should have said she's always usually appeared. characters are always subject to not be at a particular meal. i suspect you had both pluto & donald too then.

Nope...Chip, Dale, Mickey, Goofy...was honestly kinda disappointed but like they say "characters subject to change"

so not even either donald or pluto? at that time, donald should have been there but not actually going to tables... still a good experience though hopefully
