Not eating bags or ME!!:rotfl2:

We arrive MCO at 8:30 p.m., after a 3 1/2 hour flight. I know that my crew will be HUNGRY!! What order would you do the following:

Eat
Get bags from bag claim (DH is firm on this--previous bad experience!)
Go to ME desk

I was thinking that we should get something to eat after deplaning, then to bag claim, then to ME. What do you think?

If we do the above, what restaurant options will we have?

Thanks!
Kari

How about bring snacks and go straight to bag claim/ME? Enough to tide you over till you get to the hotel.

You don't want to wait too long before claiming your bags- they will take them to tee baggage office for your airline.

Split your party.

Send someone to pick up food from the food court and meet you in baggage.

We have actually decided to bring sandwiches on the plane this year to save time. I have seen other people bring on lunch/dinner and always think "Why didn't I do that?" So this year, we are picking up Subway sandwiches on the way to the airport and eating lunch on our flight. No wasted time in the airport eating greasy fast food and we will be all set for a regular dinner time at our resort or in a park on arrival night:goodvibes

Eat on the plane.

If you decide to eat at the airport, you should get your bags first. Letting them go around and around on the carousel is just begging for them to be stolen.

Have a sit down meal at the airport before you board. Then, have some light snacks to eat on the plane. Pack a few sandwiches or bagels to eat once you deplane.
You can always get something to eat once you get to your resort. 3.5 hrs isn't that long a flight.

Most of the restaurants at MCO will be closed by the time you get there. They usually close at 8:00 p.m. News stands will be the only thing open

We always bring food on the plane so we can just head straight to ME when we get off.
