eating at Uinversal

we're going to be there from July 31 to Aug 4. Can folks give me some thoughts on the restaurants (both sit down and counter service) with emphasis on good value?

We ate at NBA, nascar, and hard Rock. Our favorite was NBA.In fact, we went back again on the same trip. I liked it so much, I took a group of 30 on a trip down this year. I called ahead and we were treated like royalty. The food is really good and about the same prices as other theme rest. in the area.

We had a great lunch at Margaritaville, a good casual dinner at the Nascar Cafe and another good lunch at the Enchanted Oak Tavern, a counter service place in IOA which offered a great value IMO. We also ate dinner in a casual restaurant in HRH that was quite good - I can't think of the name!

My only disappointment was Mel's Diner in Universal park. DS wanted to eat there and the food turned out to be rather yucky IMO.
