Great updates! We missed the queue as it was Jeremy and my first time riding HM this trip. I didn't want him to freak out on me before we even got started. He and I will definitely have to check it this trip.

I thought it was more like Pooh but they actually split it. The area is what used to be the cemetery to the left of the HM.

Well went to Best Buy yesterday & got the SX40. I played with it when I got home & so far I LOVE it. Very easy to use. (I can get easily confused). I cannot wait to try it out in Disney on Wed. How long does your battery last?? Does it go the whole day?

I think I just got an A in enabling.


I hope you enjoy it. I enjoy mine. Since it is a bit bigger - camera strap big it did get heavy but I just adjusted the strap further back to distribute the weight better. I never brought the case. It was easier to leave it hanging than my small one that only had a wrist strap. Unless my head falls off I am not dropping the camera.


I did get an extra battery at Batteries plus ( Much cheaper ) The battery will last most of the day but you know how long I go. I made it easy on 2 batteries and that was going rope drop to park close.

I wanted to linger longer but felt a bit self conscious doing it. I could have played for much longer.

Make sure you head left through the cemetery. It is more tongue in cheek creepy than outright scary. I think Jeremy would think it was hilarious.

Disney parades are great. I like the short lines during the parade but I am stopping for parades more and more. I like watching the CM in the parade enjoy it and interact with the crowd.

After my haunted ride, I decided to at least walk through Fantasyland.

Where the old skyway used to be.

The bathroom that I heard will someday go away.

Back at the skyway stroller parking area.

Down where the skyway meets IASW.

Now it was a MNSSHP night. It was about 4pm when I saw this. The first of partygoers must be arriving.

I am not sure how or why but I had to document it.

With no line I opted for a happy cruise.

The CM up in the control tower.

The CM apparently caught someone else trying to take his picture. Perhaps a couple of cute girls.

I tried to capture this but I failed. Hopefully you get the idea.

By the time I could get the camera setting right and focus again I got this.

AS I try out the indoor dark settings.

Look at all the change in the water.

So now when I get off the CM in the tower has changed. Now this CM is in control.

How much can I hit before 7pm?

Yes you get an A in enabling. Yes it is a little bulky but I love that 35X zoom!!

I hope the battery lasts me. I will charge it up while at the pool in the afternoon.

I'm impressed that you rode IASW of your own volition. I've ridden it 3 times as an adult: once with my friend Erin who had never been to Disney before, once with my friend Erica after about 3 sangrias at Hoop Dee Doo Revue and splitting a Lapu Lapu at the Poly lounge (on which occasion I dozed off during the ride), and once with Seth for obvious reasons. That ride is what my nightmares are made of. Luckily this last trip I was so distracted by watching Seth enjoy it that I was able to tune out the repetitive music and creepy dolls!

I see you have been on the ROFR thread. Yes I has addonitis already. For about the last 2 weeks I have had that sense to check the resales and one came up in the same use year, for the right amount. I just signed and sent everything back so I am less anxious than last time since I have plenty of time to use the points.

I wanted to see how the "backwards queue" was working and once a trip I can take. Now if I was stuck or had to go around again.... I might just swim for it. This time I was focused on trying to take pictures that were not a big blur so I guess I tuned out the repetitive music. The creepy dolls on most occassions don't bother me... now watcch me have nightmares tonight.

I have been blessed with a few extra pennies and thankfully the college fund is holding steady. Some of those contracts are really a bargain and it seems like most things ( BCV and OKW are the exceptions) are going right through. I offered a bunch lower than asking but I didn't bottom it out because of ROFR. I offered in the middle of what was passing.

I remember that. A slow moving rocking boat will lull you to sleep too if it weren't for those dolls. You must have been pretty zapped to take your eyes off thse dolls.

i remember seeing a youtube compilation of that. the title said pool woman has dolphin tatoo airbrushed on forehead.
