Eat my fav, THIS! But, Whatever you do, don't eat THAT!

Hmmmm.....You expect me to just list two things on here? Not possible! I will have to sneak in more ideas tomorrow! I will have a hard time thinking of too many DON'T eats. I like most of the stuff I have had at DLR!

Eat This: Gooey, messy, BIG cinnamon roll from Blue Ribbon Bakery
Not That: Pot Pie at Carnation (my friend got very ill from that)

I really don't have a "don't eat" yet, but.....

Do eat: Pretzel stuffed with Jalapeno Cheese from Coke Corner or Bengal BBQ (DS thinks the ones from Bengal BBQ have more cheese and are much yummier.)

Okay...I can keep it to two per post, how about that? :lmao:

EAT THIS: Chocolate Croissant from BRB

NOT THIS: I guess Village Haus. I, like Sherry, have a hard time thinking of what not to eat.

(Pssstt....I would have said TPG, but Pixiewings beat me to it! :rotfl: )

Does the chocolate croissant have chocolate inside of it as well as drizzled on the outside? I assume so. They have good stuff at that BRB, don't they? - I wish I had seen the strawberry shortcake there the last time I went in, because it looked scrumptious. Now they are not selling it anymore, darn it!

Mmmmm...absolutely! Best when warm, with a hot cup of mocha. DH and I share this treat as often as we can. :goodvibes

I am not sure I am going to fit on any rides after all the eating I have planned for this trip, but I will try to squeeze onto things as best I can! I might have to get that croissant ALONG WITH my cinnamon roll and piece of cake AND blended mocha, and just have a big porkfest right in the middle of Main Street! Then I will quietly waddle back to the PPH and turn in for the night if all the sugar doesn't kill me first!

Eat this: Prime Rib dinner at Blue Bayou...perfect!

Not that: anything at Village Haus...

ROFL...this is why we have a 'shopping' day mid-trip when we go, which is code for 'eat your way down Main St.' :rotfl2:

Oh....I see...'Shopping day' sounds less gluttonous and indulgent that 'eating day,' I suppose! I have to admit that after I scheduled all my dining PS's for the trip next week, just for the 3rd - 5th, I thought to myself, "Well, when am I going to fit in a visit to Blue Ribbon Bakery to get a cinnamon roll? I have to make time for it somewhere..." So then I started contemplating the thought of possibly going into the parks on the evening of the 2nd too (or late afternoon) just so I can go to BRB and 'have time' to eat my sweets without being too full from other meals! Oh, and we may get in a ride or two as well. Isn't that sad? Actually arranging the schedule around eating junk?:rolleyes1

Eat This: Cream cheese stuffed Mickey Mouse Pretzel
Not This: Sorry but have to say Turkey Leg

Yes, yes it's sad...and very familiar! We got in the habit of sharing everything, we can never finish everything we want to taste if we don't, and we would be too miserable for the rides if we did! So, we 'nibble' our way through instead of 'chow.' We eat pretty light, organic food outside of vacations, no fast food ect. DH and I don't believe vacations should be restrictive though, but I am glad to say that altough we live on the junk when we are there, we power walk it off from ride to ride!!! :lmao:

Do eat Plaza Inn Chicken Dinner yumm yum and I don't like chicken, no don't chicken out and go for other choice it is
Do Not Eat every one gets sick!!

Eat this: Clam Chowder bread bowl from that little walk up stand in New Orleans Square on a chilly December night while waiting for fireworks (someone jump in and tell me the name!)...

Not that: Dole Whip Float (yucky frozen yogurt over bad pineapple juice does not make a good treat for anyone!). I normally love frozen yogurt, but this is really, really, BAD fro yo! After reading about the dole whips here I knew I had to try it--and once was enough! Most went into the garbage. None of my kids liked it either.

Eat This: Bacon wrapped asparagas from Bengal Barbeque.

Don't eat: Village Haus I guess.

Don't Eat at: Try Our Crumbs in NOS [read it that way fo 3 days]

Do eat at: Try our Gumbo

Eat this: Chicken Sandwhich w/guacamole and chilies from White Water Snacks. :thumbsup2

Not this: Chicken Sandwhich from Taste Pilots Grill.

Both were white meat served on a hamburger bun. TP's meat was smaller, fries were smaller. DH and I split the TP Grill one and we were still hungry. The next day we split the WW one and not only did it taste better, we were stuffed!

EAT THIS: Beef Nachos at White Water Snacks (Yummy!!! popcorn:: )
NOT THAT: Pizza at Pizza Port (very mall-type pizza and VERY greasy!)

You can still say it, I said something that someone else said. :) I love TPG, especially the chicken sandwich someone else said to avoid. LOL

Oh yes, and it is soooooooooooooo good!!!!

Are you my twin?

ITA 100% with this post! LOL

I'll be back tomorrow for more. :)

Eat this: anything from the Hungry Bear (mostly just for the atmosphere!)
Don't eat: anything from Rocket Rod's Pizza Port. My kids always want to go there and I cringe everytime. Bleh.
