Tonight will be the Chicken Parm, spaghetti, and garlic bread. I need to get to the grocery, but I am not moving so fast this morning lol.

It seems like I haven't been on here is sooooo long! Well, money is extremely tight right now, so I am going the super-cheap route. Here are the planned meals.

Tonight:
Leftovers

Tuesday:
White Beans and Ham
Cornbread

Wednesday:
Hot Dog Wraps
Tortilla Chips with Queso

Thursday:
Potatoes AuGratin with Smoked Sausage
Green Beans

Friday:
Canned Soup
Grilled Cheese

DH threw me a surprise party for my 40th B-day Saturday. He did so good. This was definitely "out of the box" for him, so that made it even more special. :lovestruc

We have been doing good with eating home. We did get Chinese take out on Sunday afternoon which came to $22 because we got lunch specials. I did work 56 hours last week though.

Tonight we are having pasta with red clam sauce from a jar that was 1/2 price on clearance that I bought a while ago. Was originally $7 so I'm thinking it's probably good. :rotfl2: I'm broke and there really is not much else to choose from.

Tomorrow I get paid, and I'm TRYING to plan meals, but I am having the hardest time ever. This is what I planned so far:

Lunches
sesame pasta chicken salad
onion soup
cold cut sandwiches

Dinners
Pot roast, carrots, mashed potatoes
ohana wings with ohana peanut noodles
homemade pizza

I just can't think of anything :confused3

We went out last night to a new Mexican restaurant. It ended up being rather expensive. So we are getting back on track now.

I think I'm going to make some BBQ chicken in the crock pot today. Not sure about the sides. Probably baked beans and corn on the cob. I know I have some ice cream so that will probably be dessert.

Oooh, I got a surprise yesterday. A co-worker brought me a big ole bag of home grown okra. My whole family LOVES okra! So dinner tonight is some down-home southern fare:

White Beans and Ham
Fried Okra
Cornbread

Yummmmmmm!

So this week we will be having

Yesterday- spaghetti and sauce
Today-blt
Wednesday- chicken
Thursday- beef roast
Friday pizza and Mac and cheese

Oops, forgot to post earlier. This week the menu is/was:

Sunday: Spiral cut ham, m. potatoes, green beans and corn;
Monday: leftover ham with crockpot scalloped potatoes;
Tuesday: Hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans and mac n cheese;
Wednesday: Chicken Divan (crockpot) over rice;
Thursday: Peanutbutter pork with peppers (crockpot) over leftover rice;
Friday: Pizza and wings

Lots of crockpot meals this week:)

Hoping I can join in, been lurking the last few weeks getting ideas, thought I would contribute.

Sun = speghetti and meatballs with a microgreen salad
Mon = steamed torsk (cod) with lemon butter, grilled mixed veggies and rice
Tue = burgers, corn on the cob and steamed veggies
Wed = French Toast and eggs with a side of fruit
Thur = buffalo chicken mac and cheese and steamed veggies
Fri = pizza and a side salad
Sat = out

Last night we had a BBQ chicken pizza. I made it with a Pillsbury pie crust. Today I made a Mufeletta sandwich for lunch. My DH gets me mad sometimes because he doesn't like to try new things. On the other hand most of the rest of my family will try anything. That was kind of my last meal because I start Weight Watchers again today. I am in the mad dash with 7 weeks before WDW world. I am gonna try to loose at least 20 by then.

Ohhhhhh....yummy!!! Add a few sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and I'd be in heaven!

It looks like Mother Hubbards Cupboard over here....we need to go to the grocery store sooooo bad but that won't happen until Sunday :scared1: So here's what our menu looks like for this week:

Sunday: Husbands company picnic

Monday: Took my grandmother out for her birthday

Tuesday: Soft tacos, refried beans & tortilla chips

Wednesday: Baked ham with pineapple, au gratin potatoes, green beans

Thursday: DH got tickets from his boss for a baseball game so we'll likely grab something quick before we go to the game and then get a couple of snacks at the game.

Friday: Pizza

Saturday: Family wedding

We did pretty good the last couple of weeks sticking to our menu plan. I actually went to the grocery store almost 2 weeks ago and the plan was to shop for that week only since we had DSS and things were crazy. But we looked at things and determined we would just eat what was in the freezer/pantry and not make a trip to the store for the second week. So I cut our grocery bill basically in half by doing that :woohoo: And no one (read: DH) is dying of hunger because of it :laughing:

Tonight we had grilled chicken, broccoli, salad and bread

Tomorrow will be pork tenderloin and potatoes

Thursday - sausage and pasta

Friday, pizza

I am just starting WW again. Would love some ideas about what you eat, you are so good at your other meals ideas.

Going out to lunch today with a friend. This is pretty much a once a month thing for us, so I am super excited. It can be so hard to catch up with each other!

Dinner will be Honey Grilled Shrimp, Potato/Carrot/Onion Packets, Fried Okra, and Rolls. The okra got added because the neighbors brought a HUGE bag of it over...

Haven't posted this week yet.

Sunday - sub sandwiches at home with baked chips
Monday - cooked whole chicken and used dark meat for Jambalaya
Tuesday - Chicken quesadillas from left over chicken, homemade salsa
Wednesday - leftovers, sandwiches and soup
Thursday - Spaghetti with turkey meat sauce, garlic bread, and salad
Friday - Whole Grain Hamburger Helper made with Turkey
Saturday - can't decide
