Hi everyone, I just made out my main dish menu from next week till FEB 9.. I used a 5 week menu (no menu for Thanksgiving or Christmas weeks) Hopefully this will work out well for us and I won't have to spend so my of my time on the weekends planning for the week ahead.. to get started I'll buy some stuff in bulk at Sam's Club and our sides will be what is on sale for produce. I love to cook so this time of year is my FAVE to do stuff like meal plan! I wish I had a bigger freezer!! LOL
 
Monday night I made this Buffalo Chicken Casserole - I completely forgot to add any cheese, but it still turned out great!

Last night I made Swiss Steak - I added a sliced red pepper and cooked it for about 3 hours until it was falling apart. Served with mashed potatoes. Yum!

Tonight I'm making Mushroom Spinach Lasagna from a new recipe I found on Pinterest.

Will do carryout pizza for Halloween.

Friday I'm going to try this Crockpot Chicken.
 
I had to adjust my menu. Our neighbors invited us over for chicken tacos tonight. We will be bringing the lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. :thumbsup2 Happy Halloween everyone!
 

Made my first real home cooked dinnerin weeks. We had roast beef with mashed potatoes, corn, and applesauce.

Oven BBQ Chicken
Twice Baked Potatoes
Garden Peas

Meatless Monday:
Bean and Cheese Burritos
Mexican Rice
Chips and Salsa

Tuesday:
Beef Stew
Biscuits

Wednesday:
Hot Italian Subs
Chips
*STILL haven't had this meal since I put it on the menu TWO WEEKS AGO! :sad2:

Thursday:
Potato Cheese Soup
Crescent Rolls

Friday:
Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
Grilled Cheese
*Didn't make this last night because I was craving Chili. :rolleyes1

Saturday - Chiicken noodle soup, biscuits
Sunday - Pork chops with gravy, alfredo pasta, brussel spouts
Monday - Spaghetti with meatballs, peas, garlic bread
Tuesday - Polish bake (rolled from last week as did not get to make it)
Wednesday - Leftovers
Thursday - Tacos, spanish rice, refried beans, sliced avocados
Friday - Chicken tenders, coleslaw, baked potato fries
 
Hello everyone. This will be a rough week for me. My microwave has bit the dust. I will have to do things the way my Mom used to.

Sunday: Beef Stew with carrots and homemade macaroni and cheese.

Monday: Company Chicken Pasta and Caesar salad

Tuesday: Broccoli Cheese Soup and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches

Wednesday: Spaghetti sauce and homemade meatballs, garlic bread and tomato and cucumber salad

Thursday: Nachos

Friday: Black Peppercorn marinated grilled steak, baked potatoes and buttered corn

Saturday: Tequila Lime grilled chicken skewer with onion, bell pepper and pineapple and chicken rice on the side

Tonight I will reheat a chicken I bought from Fresh Market with some mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. This will be instead of the Alfredo. Tomorrow will be another baked omelet with left over chicken, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, spinach, and Mozzarella cheese. Then I will get back on track!

Friday we had homemade macaroni and cheese with salad

Saturday was leftover roast beef sandwiches with chips and fruit

Tonight is ham with sweet potato pierogies, homemade applesauce, and corn.
 
Friday: DH and I had date night at Olive Garden, used coupon to save $4
Saturday: Pizza
Sunday: BBQ Chicken, scalloped potates, stuffing, green beans
Monday: Tacos, cornbread, chips/salsa, oranges
Tuesday: Jumbalya, left over cornbread, pineapple
Wednesday: Spagetti, salad, garlic bread
Thursday: chicken stir fry
Friday: pot roast, potatoes, carrots, rolls
Saturday: in laws for dinner
 
Howdy gang.. this week its DS, Hubs and myself - DD might show up but not sure what days yet, I always make plenty though..

Monday - Meatloaf & Green Beans for everyone (i'll doctor mine just a bit) Mashed Potato for Hubs, Garlic shells for DS and Mashed Cauliflower for me
Tuesday - Chicken tenders, Tater Tots, Stuffing and Green beans for DS and Hubs, Grilled chicken, mashed cauliflower & Green beans for me
Wednesday - Ham steak and green beans for all, Pasta Roni for DS and Hubs, cabbage for me
Thursday - DS will have a meatball sub, Hubs will have Ravoli and I will have an atkins meal after class
Friday - pizza night - frozen is likely
Saturday - celebrating DD bday a little early.. prob the Olive Garden..
Sunday - Family dinner #2 at my in-laws this week.. I think it's meatballs, sausage and homemade sauce over pasta with salad and bread..
 
Saturday night we had chicken patties, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Well, I chose to eat a veggie burger.
Sunday I made meatball subs with spinach on side.
Monday-- pasta with broccoli
Tuesday-- pepper and eggs subs
Wednesday-- might get a pizza
Thursday-- veggie burger for me and maybe ravioli's or pierogies for everyone else.

Hi there - I hit all the stores after looking at the flyers for the best deals - I mark down what store has the item on sale, they are all within a mile of each other so it's not a hassle for us. Altho sometimes it might take us a little longer when we do that parking and getting in and out at 5 stores (Market Basket, Shaw, Hannafords, CVS and Rite aid) HAAAA oh well..
 
My daughter-in-law says she has the most luck with price-matching. She goes through the flyers and notes what she wants to get price-matched on her list, and then goes to Wal-Mart with all the flyers. She puts the price-matched items all in one section of her cart and does those last. That way she gets most of the sale items but only has to go to one store.

Tonight we had man pleasing chicken with rice and broccoli

Friday will be chili with corn bread

Saturday american chop souy

Sunday will be chicken sliders and squash

Monday will be drop biscuits with sausage gravy and fried round steaks
