BBQ Ribs, corn and cole slaw

Tomorrow leftovers

We have several trips coming up that I'd like to put some extra money towards so I need to jump back on board with this thread. My freezer and pantry are full and bursting, I really need to concentrate on what we already have before buying now so it's good timing on both fronts!

Tonight: Found 2 chicken breasts and a lonely salmon filet in the freezer. Threw those on the grill with a bag of frozen corn on the cob. I made rice and sweet potatoes from the pantry. I also used up the last Rice Crispies and marshmallows for rice crispy treats for dessert.

Monday-Frozen ravioli's, salad
Tuesday-Ham/Turkey sandwiches, minestrone soup
Wednesday-Barbecued chicken pizza, salad
Thursday-Tuna melts, guacamole and chips, watermelon

This week's menu:

Sunday: Spicy Mango chicken breasts on the grill, potato salad, tossed salad
Monday: Cheese Steak subs with mushrooms, onions & peppers, pasta salad, fruit salad
Tuesday: BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, oven fried potatoes

It's been forever since I've been on the thread. All the college application/visits/auditions for my DD got the best of me. Now it's time to get back to eat at home. Her college is expensive, so eating out isn't going to be an option. Tonight we had chile rellenos casserole, black beans and rice, and honeydew melon. It was really good, and there's enough left for tomorrow night. Thursday will be an Asian Chicken Salad. Grocery shopping on Friday.

Lily I am so sorry for your loss.

Money is tight right now, oh who am I kidding, it's always tight.

Last night was homemade chinese takeout. I made dumplings and chicken with broccoli.

Tonight is Lax picnic I have to bring a salad.

Thursday will be pork chops rice and green beans

Friday homemade pizza

Saturday pasta with whatever I can find.

I hear you! I just graduated from one program and now need to continue on with school to get my Nursing degree. I am going to summer school so I need to make every penny count too. Planning ahead makes such a difference. :thumbsup2
