Last night we had chicken wings with fries and zucchini.

Tonight we had Cincinnati chili over baked potatoes with brocoli.

Booked the moving truck yesterday so I have a month's worth of meals left to do before a six day TransCanada trek! Once we get there, we'll be staying with family while we look for somewhere to live.

So...

Tonight: steak, potato salad, broccoli with cheese sauce
Fri: Scallops over quinoa, baby carrots and cucumber slices
Sat: mini tortieres, corn, apple slices
Sun: Ravioli, garlic bread, green beans
Mon: pizza, garlic bread, salad
Tues: chicken and noodles, salad
Wed: meatball subs and salad
Thurs: wonton soup with grilled cheese sandwiches, veggie platter
Fri: cheesy ham, broccoli and rice casserole
Sat: burgers, chips and veggie tray
Sun: pork chops, baked potatoes, whatever veg we have in the house

**At this point, most of the freezer will be empty of entree type foods. I think for the final 2-3 weeks in this house, we'll be having a lot of pancakes, grilled cheese sammies, mac and cheese, hot dogs, burgers and beef tacos.

We've had such a busy week with school class trips and baseball games.. Last night I had a simple veggie burger w/ sauteed onions and mushrooms. The kids of course didn't want that, my oldest went to BK with my friend and she treated him to dinner. I gave my DD and her friend pizza then we rushed to the game.

Tonight: Peppers & Eggs w/ rye toast & smiley face fries
Saturday: Baked ziti
Sunday: A chicken stew--- chicken, stewed tomatoes, onions, peppers, potatoes, chicken broth, carrots.

My fridge is so bare:rotfl2: but we are going shopping tomorrow :cool1:

Tonight I will make a Mac and cheese bake
Saturday BBQ chicken and salad
Sunday hamburgers and corn on the cob
Monday is my cousin cookout and I am brining the chili
Tuesday softball so it's crock pot chicken and smashed potatoes
Wednesday breakfast pancakes and bacon
Thursday softball and since coach it's our last game which means pizza and ice cream
Friday Mexican bake

I did it! I graduated Friday:) And I had a job interview this past week so things are looking up! My youngest still has pneumonia so she couldn't go to the graduation. My Mom was nice enough to come over and watch her.

I made us scalloped potatoes with ground beef because we had to eat before we left. My class was 1500 people and we didn't get out of there until nearly 8. I am up early as usual but exhausted. I start summer school on June 9th to continue on with my Nursing certificate. Fingers crossed I will get this Phlebotomy job!

Well, for the last 3 weeks or so I've only been buying absolute necessities and using up everything we had on hand. I had depleted pretty much everything so today was a huge shop that included some stocking up on sale items. It was a wretched day to shop because it was our stores semi-annual $1 sale. It was packed, I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted and only a small list and ended up leaving with way more than I intended. We'll be good for weeks now and will only need to go get bread, milk and produce. Anyway I think I spent about 300 including cat food, and paper products:worried:.

So .. Here's the menu plan for the week...

Tonight was bbq'd chicken, potato foil packs, and cucumbers
Sunday.. Just the boys as dd and I are having dinner at my sisters. Not sure what they will make but heaven knows there's no shortage of choices.

Monday.. Meatball Subs and salad

Tuesday.. Tacos and Wraps.. (taco meat, beans, cut up veggies etc.)

Wednesday..BUSY night as ds has soccer practice and basketball practice. We'll do breakfast for dinner ..eggs, bagels, smoothies

Thursday..BBQ hamburgers and chicken burgers, asparagus, carrots

Friday...Something simple. I am always tired on Fridays. Maybe I'll make an easy shepards pie or something. Later that night we'll go to the drive-in and bring snacks.

Tonight was fend for yourself night. Mom had a hamburger with fried potatoes, leftover veggies, and salad. I had veggie pizza and salad.

I am lucky enough to have the next few days off so I plan to do some bulk cooking to stock up the freezer a bit.

i need to get on the meal plan as well .

Sunday Burgers and sweet potato fries

Monday Kielbasa and pasta salad

Tuesday crescent taco bake

Wednesday Italian sausage and pasta

Thursday meatloaf from the freezer

Friday Leftover buffet or sandwiches

Saturday Pizza

So glad I found this, my husband and I were just talking about we need to stop eating out 3-4 nights a week, with 3 kids its really hitting our weekly food budget. We want to limit ourselves to one night a week. Plus that's more money for the Disney fund

Tentative meals for the week:
Salsa Chicken
Leftover's from Memorial day BBQ
Sausage, peppers and onion dish
Breakfast for dinner
Hamburger helper
BBQ Chicken

- Let's see how we do with our first "real" week with this

So it looks like we will be eating leftover tacos and alfredo lasagna for most of the week. We cooked enough food for an army with our families this weekend!
