Easy Breezy Sold Out MNSSHP

I had a group of 7 on Halloween day, a sold out party. I was expecting LINES for everything, and crazy waits for candy based on what I read on this board.

Walked onto everything except a 20 minute wait for Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Hit up every treat trail and they moved along very quickly! Most didn't even have people waiting. Watched the fireworks from Tomorrowland but we did not see the parade. I guess if you want a parade spot/jack and sally/meeting the dwarves, yes you will wait. But I was pleasantly surprised and it was a great way to spend the actual holiday!

Thanks for the report. We will be there next year for Halloween and I was worried about crowds. The only thing we really want to do is see the parade.

It was the same on the 30th. Only issue we had was after the fireworks were over there was a large crowd to get through but other than that the treat lines moved fast and we actually got to ride Peter Pans Flight, a ride that we never seem to be able to do because of the long wait, our wait was 15 mins. And the Seven Dwarves Mine Train was about a 35 min wait. Not to bad!

Yeah, I never understand all the posts about horribly crowded party nights. We have been to sold out parties at Halloween and Christmas and most of the rides have short wait times. Main Street and the Castle Hub are going to be extremely busy even at the parties that do not sell out and the character lines can be long for most of the party also.

Rule of thumb is usually to hit up the second parade. a custodial CM suggested watching it from near Liberty Square. Which I would agree with!
