Has anyone ever done the "Champagne Catamaran sail and snorkle trip" in St. Thomas? What did you think of it?

Has anyone done a beach "thing" on their own? Which one did you like the best, and why?

We did the Champange Catamaran and loved it. So much so that we are doing it again in April. What we liked was that it was a little longer than the typical excursion so we didn't feel rushed. The boat was great, the crew was nice and very attentive, the beach was beautiful, they served a nice lunch and beverages, too. Unless the catamaran company has changed, here is the website to the company they used.

Dancing Dolphin

Enjoy...we did and will again!

I sent them an e-mail, so I'll see what they say. Thanks for the info! We just can't decide WHAT to do!

In St. Thomas we went to Coki Beach on our own and had a blast. Fantastic snorkeling, nice (not pushy) people selling drinks, and a scuba shop right on the beach if you want to do a certified dive (I did!).

It's also where Coral World is (but we didn't go there).

The Ottawacruiser.

we did the champagne catamaran and had a blast. it sprinkled while we snorkeled but we still had a good time. they had music playing, had a great lunch and had wonderful margaritasQ!

Where do you snorkle? Does it go to St John?

Never mind, I just answered my own question with my passporter. It sounds like a nice excursion.

Do you get a full 2 hours to snorkle at Honeymoon Beach?

Makaylee....
I thinnk we get 1-1.5 hours to snorkle and the trip there is 2 hours.

I've heard great things about this one....I'm just not sure, as we are meeting up with friends we met on our FIRST cruise. I have to see what their thoughts are this weekend.

For those that did the Champagne Catamaran said in St Thomas, did you bring children? How was it? I wonder how small children would be for the 2 hour ride before we got to the snorkeling. This looks like a great excursion. I have to talk to DH when he gets home!

We chose to do Captain Nautics St. John snorkle (I highly recommend it by the way) because it went to two places (Honeymoon Beach and Christmas Cove) you also had a hour at each place. We had to leave our dd6 on shore though because the age requirement is 8. She enjoyed staying at the club, but I think next time we might do the champagne Catamaran since she will be old enough to go with us. She complained when we took her out of the club to go shopping in St Thomas after our excursion, but I dont think she'll complain while shes playing on Honeymoon Beach, it was so beautiful!

Thanks for the information. We have been debating on doing this for our May cruise. It sounds great. Guess I better call today to book it since we are only 49 days out right now!
