Eastern Caribbean Jan 28-Feb 5

WE DID hear that! Hilarious!!! :lmao:

Also, that show has my DH's favourite part. When Jafar starts spinning around Iago and singing, "Did you ever know you were my hero?" Thanks for reminding me of this funny, funny show!

:thumbsup2

Ask Lauren ..Im sure she will know...:lmao: Ok so on our first cruise JD also forgot his pants and that was the joke of the week with our new friends/table mates..this cruise I was one of those that had to leave the table the first night at PP. We had Godwin too. So far trip report A+ :thumbsup2

Gotta love how well they do without us, eh? :thumbsup2

Sorry about your experience with motion sickness. I think you told us that the next day. I will say, as I told our table mates, I could feel more rocking on this cruise on the first night than on the ships that Port in Miami, that's for sure.

Thanks also, for the encouragement.

haha yes that show was funnnnnnnny! We only made it to 3 shows (the first night, villains, and the last night) because of being sick. We even missed fireworks! I forced us to go to the last one so that we felt like we did something. We were also in sessions tho almost nightly - so at least we had that :)

Loving the pictures.

Sorry we didn't get to meet up with you. There was a lot of missing people from the meet. But that was ok too. Some we found others we didn't. Heck we were sitting right across from Tiffany and Matt in the terminal and didn't even know it until he said I was holding there picture. :lmao:

Glad you font got bigger, I didn't make though your earlier posts too small and close. Now I feel old. Maybe you could use some more space or paragraphs for us old people.

@ Tiffany: what time were you in Sessions? We were always in there after 10:15 We saw a few couples and many BIG tables of people. Were you there the night that the very drunk girl tried to play the piano with Ed?(and if that was you I am very embarrassed right now!)

@ NAB- do you know how I can edit the font using the edit key. when I use the edit key, it doesn't appear to give me the option to change the font. I know what you mean-I had to use my cheaters in order to read it myself. And it is a shame we didn't get to meet. Maybe we could all arrange the same experience on another cruise? :rotfl:

IWe started to watch Cars on Funnelvision, but we had booked Tea with Alice and had to run off to get ready for that. It was so sweet and even though it is geared for little ones, we LOVED it too. I did have a heads up that they don't really serve tea, just apple juice with the cookies, so I grabbed some from the drink machines before we headed to the show. There is an opportunity to take photos with Alice and the Mad Hatter after the show and I felt it was well organized.

Jerelle, I think we ran into you and your husband while trying to get photos taken one night, but as I was reading your trip report I kept thinking that your DD looked SO familiar and now I know why. We were right behind you for pics with Alice and the Mad Hatter. Your DD looked so cute in her little hat!

Are u kidding me? If that's true, did your little DD have a Belle golden dress on? We have a few photos of the last night, in the mad frenzy of trying to meet and greet everyone, and there is a sweet little one with a Belle(I think) ball gown. For some reason, when I saw the photo, I thought it was you because of her glasses. Then I thought I was probably wrong! Maybe I was right! Too bad we never got to chatting(unless of course, we did and I've forgotten, in which case I am truly embarassed!!) :rotfl: Hope she had a wonderful time and BTW my DD LOVED that little hat. She got it for Christmas especially for her cruise.

You need to hit the edit button then Go Advanced and the font and size options show up.

Did you rebook on the cruise....we re booked for next Jan. on the Dream

Thanks NAB! I have adjusted the fonts for your perusal! :)

Also, we did not rebook onboard as we are planning a trip to the UK to see my DH's family next year and want to save our $$ for that. Slightly more $$ than a Disney cruise. We thought that we would talk to a rebooking agent and even though we did seem to see him free from time to time, we never made much of an effort, we were always rushing off to do something else. Although, we would like to go in 2013-so as soon as any of you hear that those dates in early Jan Feb 2013 open up, please let us know and we'll reserve, but I think this time, through DU. :)

LOL no that wasn't me!! What did they do to her? We did not go the night Ed was there. We sometimes went before dinner and sometimes after. Ummm I know we saw the broadway one and the disney one and then a lot of miscellaneous sets... does that help??? We usually sat nearish to the front - sometimes on the side and sometimes in front of the piano but not like waaay in the back or anything.

ETA: We also saw the Nat King Cole set... I am just now remembering that because I didn't really want to go to that but then, once there, realized I knew a lot of the songs! We were there the last night too and Tim was playing "goodbye" songs for us... King of the Road, Route 66... since we were driving home. haha!

Thank Goodness it wasn't you I just laughed about! We could see she was heading up toward him, with the encouragement of most of her friends. I think she was the life of the party in that group. When she got up beside him, she started trying to play the piano. He just finished up quickly(very quickly!) got up and started walking around. Very classy! We asked him how it made him feel and he said he HATED being in situations like that but that it was all in fun and she'd be having a sore head tomorrow! :headache: He also said that Disney strongly discouraging getting angry with guests. We were also told that cast members are not supposed to tell guests, "no". This could make for bad situations I think.
Also, I'm sure we were there for the King of the Road set! We always sat in chairs on the left as you walked in, by the portholes. I know he sang Lady in Red on formal night and You look Wonderful Tonight like my DH asked for. Too bad we never saw each other. :sad2:

Ohhhh I think I heard your DH ask for that!!! And Tim made it more "Disney-appropriate"? lol It was so dark in there, or I might have recognized you! Now I am missing martinis - loved the Ivory Keys... mmmmmmmmm

That sounds very classy of Ed... we saw him playing sometimes in the atrium but we just didn't make it that night!

ETA: We did ask for "You were always on my mind" and then he asked me which version I preferred and I said The Pet Shop boys so he tried to do a fast version LOL. Were you there for that?

I'd like to shoutout to 2 couples who we saw regularly, almost every day a few times a day. You know who you are and I'd like your permission before I name you. (I'm always concerned about people's privacy.) That's why I've never used anything other than first names of our tablemates, nor have I included any photos of them. That was indeed our favourite part of the cruise: connecting with new people and meeting new friends.

The couples in question: Couple A: J and J celebrating their 25th Anniversary and couple B: C and J also cruising ALONE. It was so nice to meet and talk to you both. Several times, we'd run into couple A when DH was looking for me or I was looking for him. It became a running joke that we needed one of those kids bracelets for the adults. We'd run into couple B often at breakfast or dinner.

It was lovely meeting you both and also meeting our table mates from Niagara Falls. xo

Go for it!!!! Sorry I keep using your name instead of your alias......:lmao:

Keep them coming I am totally enjoying and love all the little side bars......:lmao: BTW I wish I was hanging with you guys as well as Disneysilver as I missed so much from reading your post.......:sad2: I never once looked at the Navigator, they are in my room I should have a look at them.....:lmao::lmao:

Yes, that was my DD in the Belle dress. She absolutely fell in love with Belle on the cruise - no matter which princess we went to see, she would (almost apologetically) say, "I love Belle" It was so darned cute, we bought her a Belle dress :)

OH MY! Yes WE WERE!!! I was so darn full every time I went into that bar, all I could muster was bubbly that I would sip on for an hour. I do LOVE my martinis though! My DH noticed the last time we went in that you could have a Courvoisier for $6.50 and then he had one in Palo! I didn't find the drink prices to be high at all-but I am Canadian and we pay more than you guys do. :lmao:

When my dd was small and on the cruises she got her dad to buy her a Cinderella , Belle, and Sleeping Beauty. This time she wanted a Minnie dress so bad but they didn't have her size left.

Love seeing the kids so excited and dressed up. :goodvibes

We bring all the dresses with us and would end up seeing the princess but be wearing one of the other dresses.
