I always build my own baskets for easter any suggestions for a disney theme? We are going to WDW June 5-10. DS1,11 DD,6 DS2 7months

Autograph books, Disney cookies, those small towels that become bigger when you put them in water, crayons, coloring books.... there are alot of Disney things out there.

Along with Disney $$$$, you might want to also stuff in some things they can use on the trip. Autograph books and pens. Snacks and water bottles. Travel sunscreens and other travel items. Gum, sunglasses, mini fans, and a note or cards from characters telling them they cant wait to see them.

We're going in August but my DD and DS are getting Disney themed baskets too. On my list so far is Disney Dollars, sunglasses, sun hats, of course candy etc. I can't have everything themed for our trip since it's a little far off, but you may want to try bathing suits. (if they don't have them already) I also saw Disney sun tan lotion at Wal Mart it was kind of cute too! Good luck with your baskets and have a great trip!

More fun stuff at the Super Walmart (Southwestern OH)

Tinkerbell or Cinderella playing cards. They are small cards (between mini and regular sized), not sure of price, they were near the check out in one of those areas where they have a lot of random items that are all really good prices.
(also saw spiderman and bob the builder)

Princess magnetic ABC drawing board (this was on the other side of the shelf I was talking about above... didn't see price) (also saw Dora and others)

Nora

Target has the Disney princess disposable cameras on the clearance....I got some 2 weeks ago & went back today & they were still there...same price, from $5.99 to $4.18 each.

I always do Disney Easter baskets for our annual May trip.
I also put in a disposable water camera for each kid to use at TL/BB.

I'mmaking a Disney themed basket for both DD's (one is 7 and one is 3) I bought each a princess light up neclace at the Disney Store, Mickey cards for DD 7, as well as a few disposable cameras, swim goggles, crayons, coloring book, a Princess notebook and coloring book, a Disney word find, stickers, a couple of Disney booksand a set of pj's. For DD 3, I bought the coloring book, crayons, pencils, Tinkerbell notebook, sun visor, stickers, a set of pj's and other small stuff. I have to go get some Disney Dollars this week, and that should do it. I tried to get things they could use to keep occupied on the drive down and stuff they would use there.

And maybe I'm one of the few, but this year I ONLY bought a chocolate bunny and a set of peeps and a pack of bubble gum eggs. They get so much candy at the egg hunts, school etc that I decided not to buy much. They never eat it anyway :confused3

What about some "pins" off ebay for pin trading?? My ds 4 loved that!! Also, our local dollar store has disney pencil crayons and mickey/minnie notebooks.

Great ideas for Easter baskets!!

In Canada, the dollar store (Dollarama) is full of Disney stuff! We got Disney placemats, art stuff for the flights, wallets, lip gloss, stickers, even Disney bags which I'm using instead of Easter baskets. I got my dd (6) 2 Ready to Read Princess books as well (not from dollar store). Oh, and Wal-Mart has Disney Princess/Mickey Mouse Easter Eggs and a chocolate Ariel. I did buy some non-Disney stuff but my dd is crazy for Princesses and we leave on April 25th so I figured I'd really Disney it up!

We are doing pins, too. On our last trip DD9 got into pin trading, and has a lanyard and a small collection of pins. We're going back in June, and we think DS6 and DD3 will enjoy it as well. My husband has come up with a couple dozen pins and two lanyards on e-bay for a fraction of the WDW prices. We're really trying to limit the sugar overload that seems to be bombarding kids from every direction these days, so we're filling their baskets with pins instead of so much candy.

I went disney crazy for easter baskets this year. We're going to WDW in July.

I have three boys, they are each getting:

Disney sunglasses, toy story pens, trading pins, mickey easter eggs, mickey chocolate lollipops, mickey mouse candy bar, stuffed disney animal, kids tour guide book or hidden mickey book, mickey mouse foam airplane, disney watch, and incredibles bubbles.

Some items were purchased from ebay, but the remaider was bought from our Super Walmart, and Dollar General. (No Disney Store near by).

I am making disney baskets too instead i went to the disney store and bought my dd10 a minnie beach draw string bag and my ds6 a dash beach draw string bag and i put both a disney baseball cap some shades coloring books colored pencils and i need to buy disney dollars.

I am putting disney dollars, and a couple of new outfits for my sons. They never eat all the candy and DH and I end up gaining the weight instead. I'm also going to use the ideas from ya'll. Thanks, Tina

DS (2) is getting Disney CD's/ DVD's to take on plane and listen to in rental car as well as a little mini backpack, water bottle and sunglasses. DNiece (12) is getting a swimsuit cover up, sunglasses, waterproof camera, teen magazines and slip on flip flops if I can find some she will like.

I've ordered a basket from Peggy to be delivered from Mickey Mouse when we arrive that will have personalized ears for all of us, and other items, but Easter seems to be the perfect time to get an early start on getting the Disney items ready for our June trip.

Right now, Toys R Us has all Color Wonders on sale, buy 1, get 1 free. They have Cinderella ones! So, those might work for you. :) I picked some up for the kiddos' secret Disney backpacks full of goodies. I think the sale is online at Amazon as well.

I am doing Disney dollars for 2DS (4 & 6) and also for DS6 I got Birnbaum's Disney for Kids book. I'm also going to get autograph books and pens.

Only 12 more days until we leave :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

For DD's surprise Disney "on the plane" basket, I found something called Disney Princess Kids Q's at Barnes & Noble. It's a little book about half the size of a deck of cards with a clip that can attach (hopefully) to a fannypack. It's filled with 1,000 'what if' type questions that I plan to use while we wait in line for attractions. It says there are also versions available for Mickey Mouse, Pooh and another character, but I've only found the princess version (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&isbn=0641610327&kids=y&itm=1)

Another idea - Disney jewelry such as a watch.

As per someone's pin suggestion - I've seen Easter-themed pins on eBay. If you call WDW, maybe they can FedEx some to you.

Also, Wal-Mart has Disney-themed crayons, markers and activity kits.

And, either Target or Toys R Us (sorry - too many flyers in yesterday's paper now picked up by WasteManagement) has Easter-themed Mr. Potato Head

Finally, you can also give a Disney video or CD.

We are doing an egg hunt with Disney prizes inside and can't wait to see our 5 year olds expression when he puts all the "hints" together and realizes that we are going to Disney World! We leave May 7, so three weeks will seem like forever for him. That's why we aren't telling him till Easter!
