Easter Crowds

I guess I looked at the wrong year (checking out the Easter holiday on Deb's webstie) when I booked a room for our spring break March 21-25. I panicked when I saw a post about good Firday and Easter and realized Good Friday will be our departure day. We have ZERO experience with crowds. We have been in Sept twice, Oct once, and went the first week of December last year. From what I have read on these boards I'm thinking this week with Good Friday and Easter will be like Christmas?? We took DS out of school last year for the first week of December. This year I thought we would give spring break a try....but I'm not sure about spring break and Easter crowds...yikes. What opinions/advice for this week?

It is busy, but it's manageable. We usually go during the slower times of the year, too. In April, however, we went for the week before Easter through the Tuesday after. We did not go to the parks on Saturday and Easter Sunday -- went to the beach instead. It was noticeably busier, but with early entry and extended hours, we were fine. Have a good time.

Yeah, it's doable. You'll be fine. We did it this year, after getting used to being there in May when the Spring Break rush ends. We also skipped the parks on Easter Sunday, and just did our normal Disney schedule of getting up early, leaving the parks by lunchtime and then going back in the evening since the parks were open later, and we did pretty much everything we wanted to do. I would go again that time of year. You cant beat the weather in April!!! The only thing I really missed by going when we did was the F&G Festival.

Thanks for the information. We have never been that successful with getting to the early entries but we really never HAD to. I guess my next post will be for tips on getting to the parks early with kids!
