Hi! I am Katie, Disney fanatic, Gold Coast lover, travel guru, and an accountant on the side.

Traveling with me is my friend Becky. Becky is a nursing student who has never left the east coast.

I have decided to show Becky what she has been missing in life. Needless to say she is very excited, and I am just as excited because I love taking first timers to the "Happiest place on earth"

So Why California?

So how did this trip come about?

Well a few years ago my sister decided she wanted to become an actor and did what all wanna be actors do. She picked up and moved to Hollywood! So far she has done a few things here and there, but nothing significant, nothing with credits, so if you asked me what she has been in, I really couldn't tell you. I DO know she played a dead body on one of the CSI type shows.

Other than that, her move to LA has been great for me! I have a free place to stay when I go to my favorite place on the planet!

I was discussing with Becky one night over dinner how I wanted to try and get back to LA for Labor Day weekend, but airfares were crazy high. She also said she had always wanted to go to LA and decided right then and there she was going to come with me. She went to put in for the time off and got REJECTED!

So she came back with a few other dates and it was decided. August 31 to Sept 5th! Now that we knew our dates it was time to stalk air fares! They were high. I was not happy.

Then one magical day I went to the mail box and there it was.....my US Airways But One get One for $99 coupon! I immediately made the call and our trip went from costing about $400+ each to $258!!!
