Earning Points? How?

Hello, I've been reading the forum since the last two days, many were talking about using their points to book on this ..etc, is there anyone who can explain the general pointing system here? I'm afraid to comment on threads dated more than 2 weeks ago, might get my post deleted by the administrator. Thank you.

the points are DVC points which is the Disney Vacation Club timeshare scheme. You buy a set amount of points to cover your holidays.

You can't earn them, you have to pay and they are approx $100 per point, cheaper via resale!
