Early supper at Hollywood Brown Derby - how much time to budget

We booked an early supper at HBD for 440 pm, in hopes that once we are done eating we can take advantage of what I've read are lower wait times for the regular lines between 6ish and park closing. I assume we won't be seated right at 440.

What's the general wait time for the meal - we have two 20 year sons who are starving all the time so we will likely get appetizers and mains, but will probably hold off on dessert and coffee.

Thanks in advance.

We usually eat on the HBD patio, but ate inside the restaurant once on our last trip. The entire experience inside the restaurant took longer than we are used to on the patio - longer to get our food, longer to get our check, etc. I don't know if that is typical or not, but I think the entire experience for us was close to 90 minutes when we ate inside.

When we went the week before last, we were seated about 10 minutes after our ADR but service was slow and everything was drawn out a lot longer than we had expected, but we were still out and heading to the next right within 95 minutes.

Thanks. What time was your ADR? Was it during the busy times like 6 or 630?

In my experience getting cocktails and apps ahead of the entrees ALWAYS drags because the servers wait for 2 rounds of drinks before putting in food which annoys me to no end because I don't drink. There are times I am happy to linger and there are times I want ASAP, I am not into lingering in an expensive park.

To speed it up tell everyone to just tell server you only want table waters and have food order in mind to get going at first hello when you sit down and they will rush/push you out the door for a better tipping drinking/apps table. Once your food is in give it a few minutes then order apps and drinks for a an everything at once banquet.

We enjoyed the martini flight we shared AFTER we got the food order in a few minutes earlier.
