HRC what happens at a pin event? I have never really gotten into pintrading heavily, BUT I have A lot of pins that I bought over the years..I am not really sure what to do with them. I wish I could display them nicely, as I have some neat ones.
Hi Amanda,
Sorry for the delay, got back from Dallas and my sinus are killing me, 3 months after sinus surgery #2 and right back were I was, I hope the one in 2 weeks, will fix them for good, you know that saying "3rd times a charm."
At pin events were trade, buy, and sell pins (I trade only) and tell stories about pins, HRC (Hard Rock Cafe) trips and fun with other trades. I came home with about 25 pins for 1 day trading, not bad. There were about 75 to 80 traders there Sat. so pins were flying everywhere. Then a bunch of us went out on the town having fun.
That's what the pins events are for me, talking with old friends and such, pins come 2nd or 3rd now.
I have my "Keeper" pins on beach towels hanging on the wall, and my real good (big bucks pins) in a glass case. Then I have my trader bags, which is what I take to HRC's to trade or give pins to the staff. Have been thinking if I should bring my big bad or small bag on the cruise, will go to the Orlando & Nassau HRC's, but just might pick up what I like, or need. I have cut way back, with over 4000 pins, and 200+ traders, I pick up what I like, or if I know someone is looking for that pin, I get it for them.
Mom does the Disney pin trades (I do too so what, only get what I like). She runs around like a little kid, it's funny (you didn't hear that from me OK) I have been doing HRC pins for over 13 years, and when I went to my first Disney pin event, I didn't have a cue, Now I know what non HRC pin traders feel like.
OK no more pin talk, don't what to bore anyone.
